Cliff Cottage (left), a National and State Historic Registered landmark and Eastlake Victorian perched on a hillside in the heart of Eureka Springs' Historic Downtown, was a model for Sears' first kit home. It features two elegant spacious Jacuzzi suites (Sarah Bernhardt and Alfred, Lord Tennyson). To right is The Place Next Door, a purpose-built Victorian replica designed and built by the inn's founding innkeeper. (She designed it during her seven-year singlehanded sailing adventure in the Pacific.) Everyone loves the fabulous location!

Henry David Thoreau Suite in The Place Next Door (a purpose-built Bed and Breakfast Inn designed and built by the present innkeeper in 1992). The bedroom features art, stained glass and a very comfortable queen bed! The suite also has its own balcony off its private living room and tucked into the rock bluff for those who wish to smoke outside or enjoy the elf's delivered gourmet breakfast en plein air! Guests love the Jacuzzi for two in the private bathroom, too.
Colette's Mini-Suite features a two-person Jacuzzi whirlpool nestled in the corner of this very Parisian suite which overlooks Eureka Springs' Historic Downtown. Many of our guests drive to Branson 47 miles away for a day of shopping and shows and then return to their suite for a soak in their Jacuzzi. Herbal grains and softening glycerine soaps make the experience even more delightful!
Innkeeper Sandra learned to cook on an 18th-century woodburning stove in Provence when she had completed studies at L'Universite de Grenoble. She absolutely LOVES to cook and these are her famous soufflees and butterfly and ladybug cakes. Guests delight in having breakfast on their private balconies or porches.
Henry David Thoreau's private balcony off the suite's livingroom makes a delightful place to enjoy your morning coffee while reading some from Thoreau's Walden. Is that the inn's resident chipmunk I see peeking out from the rock bluff?
