  • Located in a quiet established neighbourhood of Calgary, Artist's Bed and Breakfast is an excellent jumping point for exploring all of Southern Alberta and the Rocky Mountains.
    Grown in Holly's own garden, fresh produce and locally sourced items are used in all the baking and both continental and hot breakfasts.
    Enjoy the 'green room' with Italian linens, French soaps, and Quebecois furnishings. The 'green room' invites guests to have a restful sleep and awaken to a refreshing shower with a stone floor. Wrap yourself in a comfy bathrobe and relax until breakfast.
    Guests can rest assured that the breakfast they are served will keep them long satisfied while enjoying the exhilarating mountain air or just a walk around the town.
    Hopefully rhubarb is in season and guests will have the chance to say they have tasted the world renowned, 'rhubarb muffin'! No recipe given for this gem!
    Crisp ensuites located in each guest-room offer shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer, body wash, French soaps and a warm, fluffy towel from the heated towel rack. Marble floors lead into the stone floored shower.
    Fish Creek Provincial Park is only minutes away where guests can enjoy a leisurely walk, a run or even a picnic.
    Guests will take the afternoon or whole day to drive to the Rockies and enjoy not only a wonderful hike, but the breathtaking beauty of the Rocky Mountains.
    Weather permitting, guests enjoy breakfast out on the deck.

Each room contains a queen size comfortable bed, wall-mounted flatscreen television/dvd player, private bathroom, soaps, shampoos, hair dryer, robes, plush towels, WIFI and delicious breakfasts and afternoon/bedtime snacks? Great for vacations, business meeting, or stop-overs en-route to the Canadian Rockies.

    Great Place!!!!

    This is our first review of any place we have stayed. We feel compelled to write this because we thought the Artist's B&B was awesome! The continental breakfast was homemade, fresh, yummy and plentiful. Dave and Holly are excellent hosts..........very thoughtful and accommodating. We would stay again and again.     We came to enjoy Spruce Meadows Masters Event, and feel so fortunate to have found Artist's B&B. Holly and David are wonderful hosts, who look after you better than any hotel! The food is fantastic (local, fresh, quality), the comfort of the linens is top notch, and the white towelling bathrobes an added bonus. I could rave on for a while yet, but best you just go and see for yourself!!

    Dave and Holly were excellent hosts. They recommened some local restaurants for us to dine at and made themselves available for any questions we had about visiting Calgary. The breakfast was both delicious and healthy. We enjoyed our stay at this B&B and would definitely recommend it to family and friends!

    Great place to stay in Calgary

    Holly and David provided a great home away from home for our five night stay in May. The location was great, in a quiet residential area. It was within walking distance to the C Train and to the Fish Creek Provincial Park trail system. We enjoyed the breakfast treats provided by Holly - chocolate chip muffins, phyllo burritos etc. and David's original artwork. We highly recommend Artist's Bed and Breakfast.

    Wonderful Calgary B&B

    We spent one night at the Artist's B&B recently while visiting family in Calgary. The room was pleasant, clean and had a wonderful ensuite bath with a great shower. Nice common area for relaxing. Breakfast was delicious and even included a gluten free hot dish, even though they didn't find out we required something special until after we arrived. Excellent location for central and south Calgary, easy to find, nice and quiet though right off a main thoroughfare. We will definitely stay with Holly and David again the next time we are in Calgary!

    A great place to stay in Calgary

    We had a wonderful stay here at Thanksgiving. The breakfasts were great and got better every day for the 3 days we were there. They are very friendly, but not intrusive. They graciously allowed us the use of their patio to get together with our family that were visiting for my dad's 90th birthday. My sister was initially a little concerned that the rooms were in the basement, but warmed to their warmth and bright windows. We had a wonderful walk. Just minutes from their front door to Fish Creek Park A great place to stay in Calgary.

    Peaceful Prairie Retreat

    The Artist's Bed and Breakfast is in a great location near Fish Creek Park. Endless hiking/biking trails abound. There are also some excellent restaurants in the area (try the Ranche at Fish Creek) and if you enjoy shopping, the nearby mall has everything. David and Holly have thought of every detail to make your stay comfortable. From the spotless cozy rooms, fresh flowers, amazing art work, spacious common area and wonderful breakfasts you won't be dissapointed! They are great hosts who care how your stay goes but give you as much privacy as you need. We would much rather stay here when visiting Calgary than a hotel any day!

    Excellent value, wonderful hosts, magnificent food

    My husband and I stayed for a night as we were biking in the city, and everything about the B&B was exceptional. The value can't be beat anywhere else, the food was absolutely amazing, and the room itself was quaint, comfy, and quiet. We will definitely be back:)
