Welcome to The Federal House Bed and Breakfast, built in 1815 by Judge Abijah Miller.Relax by the fire or gather for some lively conversation. Our parlor is an expansive, bright space, which can seat up to ten or twelve guests quite comfortably. Even enjoy a friendly evening of board games or a glass of wine. It's yours for the taking.
Spacious and airy, this suite overlooks the gardens and has a treetop feeling. The large room features a queen sleigh bed, a dresser, flat screen TV and Wi-Fi. French doors separate the main bedroom from the smaller sitting room, which sleeps up to one additional guest on the day bed. This room offers comfortable seating in which to curl up in front of the fireplace, or space to enjoy evening refreshments. Both rooms provide comfortable temperature control, in addition to a private bath with bathtub and shower and all of our special amenities.
The spacious William Seward Suite has a fireplace and trundle bed in the adjacent room.At the top of the grand stairway, the Lincoln Room was the original bedroom in the 1815 Miller Mansion. This spacious room has a queen canopy bed as well as a day bed, with the ability to accommodate 1 additional guest.
The Abijah Miller Room is located in the 1844 addition of our Bed and Breakfast. This cozy, comfortable room has generous morning sunlight and overlooks the beautiful gardens with the sounds of the waterfall in the background.

There are period furnishings with antique dresser and four poster queen-size bed. The newly renovated en suite bath has a large and relaxing rainfall shower. The Frances Miller Room is located at the top of the second staircase in the portion of the home renovated in 1844.

This cheerful room with cottage style furnishings is nicely appointed with a white iron queen-size bed and en suite petite bath with shower. The white painted wood floors and soft color scheme adds to its country cottage charm. Enjoy the abundance of afternoon sun while curling up with a good book, or while watching an old movie on TV.
We serve a complimentary, full breakfast every morning served outside on our covered porch overlooking our cottage garden.
