Decadent Baked French Toast: Breakfast-Brunch

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Butter

  • 1 cup Brown Sugar

  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon

  • 1/2 cup Pecan Halves

  • 1/2 cup Raisins

  • 6 Eggs

  • 1 1/2 cup Milk

  • 1 dash Salt

Step 1:

Slice bread into thick pieces. Bread could be Cinnamon Raisin, Chop Suey Loaf or plain Belgian white.

Step 2:

Melt butter and pour into a 9 x 13 pan. Add brown sugar and cinnamon and mix well. Sprinkle with pecans and raisins. Cover with thick bread slices.

Step 3:

Beat eggs, milk and salt then pour over bread slices. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Step 4:

Bake uncovered @ 300 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes. Invert and serve plain or with Maple Syrup.
