Blueberry Bread: Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup flour

  • 4 tablespoons salt-free butter

  • 1/2 lemon grated lemon zest

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/2 cup buttermilk

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 1 egg

  • 2 cups flour

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 2 cups fresh blueberries

  • 1/2 lemon lemon zest

Step 1:

Topping Mix together with your fingers the first 5 ingredients and set aside. This should be crumbly.

Step 2:

Bread: Cream together sugar and butter. Add the egg and mix. Add the buttermilk and mix.

Step 3:

combine dry ingredients and mix in to better mixture.

Step 4:

Stir in blueberries and lemon zest.

Step 5:

Spread into 9X5 inch bread pan sprayed with non-stick spray. Top with topping mix. Bake at 375 for one hour until knife comes out clean.
