Swedish Cream: Dessert

Prep time:Overnight

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups whipping cream

  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1/2 pint sour cream

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • 1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring

Step 1:

Heat cream, gelatin and sugar together slowly (do not boil). Stir until slightly thickened. Remove from heat. Mix in sour cream, vanilla and almond flavoring. Pour into one-quart serving bowl and chill. Spoon into sherbet glasses and top with strawberries, raspberries or other fresh fruit.
