Shrimp Tettrazini

Ingredienti

  • 1 lb Thin spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 Medium Onion
  • 1 1/2 lb Shrimp, small size, cleaned & deveined
  • 2 small cans Mushrooms, sliced & drained
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1/4 cup Dry Sherry Wine
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
  • Paprika for top

  1. Cook spahetti according to package directions.
  2. In large skillet, melt butter over medium heat, add onions & saute until tender. Stir in shrimp and mushrooms. Cook 5 minutes stirring frequently; remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. Heat and mix together mayonnaise, flour and salt in skillet. Gradually stir in milk and sherry. Bring to a boil stirring constantly for 1 minute. Add drained spaghetti and toss gently.
  4. Place spaghetti and mushroom mixture in 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle cheese over top; cover and bake in 325 degree oven for 15 minutes or untill thoroughly heated, sprinkle lightly with paprika.
