Oatmeal Jumbles: Dessert

Servings: 24

Prep time:15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Sugar

  • 1/2 cup Butter

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 1/2 cup Peanut Butter

  • 4 tablespoons Cocoa

  • 3 cups Oatmeal

  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla

  • 1/2 optional Raisins

Step 1:

Place first five ingredients in a large cooking pan. Place last four ingredients in a small bowl.

Step 2:

Bring the first five ingredients to a boil. Should be about two minutes-do not overcook. Remove from heat and stir in the oatmeal mixture. Using a tablespoon, spoon dough onto a cookie sheet and let cool. Refridgerate. Cookies are ready in about a half an hour,when they get firm.

Step 3:

Children love these cookies!! Guests will too!!
