Ingredienti

  • 2 Beaten eggs
  • 1/2 cup warmed milk
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • A half loaf of dry cracked wheat bread (works best)

  1. Mix egg batter well. This batter works best when it is a lukewarm temperature.
  2. Take one piece of bread and cover both sides of it with batter, toast it in a waffle iron until golden brown.
  3. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with butter and pure maple syrup.
  4. This is one of our guest favorite. It's unique and they always want the recipe.
