Overnight French Toast & Apples: Breakfast-Brunch
1 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Butter
2 tablespoons Karo Syrup (white)
2 large Apples (sliced)
1 cup Milk
1 teaspoon Vanilla
7 slices Texas Toast (thick white bread)
Cook brown sugar, butter and Karo syrup in a sauce pan until thick. Pour into a 9 X 13 baking dish.
Arrange sliced apples on top of syrup mixture.
Beat eggs, milk and vanilla in a bowl. Soak Texas Toast in mixture and place on top of apples.
Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake @ 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
