Pre heat oven 350 degrees. Line baking pans with parchment paper.
Combine first 7 ingredients in large bowl and whisk til blended.
Add flour and almonds stir until dough forms. Turn out onto lightly floured surface (don't over flour)and knead (with floured hands) a few times, dough will be soft. Divide into two. form into logs approx 2 inches wide.
Transfer logs onto baking sheet.
Bake about 30 minutes.
Remove and cool for 10 minutes.
Cut into 1/2inch slices.
turn on sides and bake again for another 20 min.
(optional to sprinkle with granulated sugar when on their sides)
Keep in a tight cookie jar or ziploc bag.
