Middle Eastern Honey Cakes: Dessert

1/2 cup Toasted Sesame Seeds
1 1/2 cups unsifted flour (or whole wheat pastry flour)
1/2 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup Honey
1/2 cup Olive oil
Toast sesame seeds in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes.
Mix ingred. and spread in ungreased 8" by 8" pan.
Bake at 300 degrees for 20-25 minutes. My Mom always made these for me when growing up. I still make them and love them. She got the recipe from a Sunday school book that had recipes similar to Bible times that Jesus might have eaten. This is one of our favorite recipes and my children love to eat honey cakes too. Enjoy!
