Blueberry Apple Crisp: Breakfast-Brunch
Prep time:1 hour
4 cups sliced Granny Smith apples
1 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
1/3 cup butter, softened
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Grease 8x8 pan and arrange apples in bottom of pan. Sprinkle blueberries over the top of the apples. Mix remaining ingredients and sprinkle over fruit.
Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
Serve warm topped with fresh whipping cream and lemon zest.
