Mix together flour and salt, cut in shortening to make coarse crumbs. Add milk a little at a time until pastry is moistened. Shape into a ball and roll into an 11-inch circle. Fit into a 9-inch springform pan or tart pan with removable bottom. Flute rim of shell. Add filling.
Filling: Beat eggs until fluffy, stir in all ingredients except whipped cream. Mix well and turn into pastry lined pan. Bake at 375 degrees 40 to 50 minutes or until barely set in the center. Cool and garnish with sweetened cream.
