The Best Banana Bread: Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups Melted butter

  • 1 3/4 cups Brown sugar

  • 4 Eggs

  • 2 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla

  • 4 cups Flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon Almond extract

  • 1 grated orange rind

  • 1 teaspoon Salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon Soda

  • 3 teaspoons Baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg

  • 2 teaspoons Cinnamon

  • 2 cups Mashed, ripe bananas (soaked in black coffee)

  • 1 cup each: raisins and chopped walnuts

Step 1:

Beat together butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, almond extract, orange rind, adding eggs one at a time. Then add flour mix (right column) and banana mixture alternately to butter mixture. Mix gently.

Step 2:

Then add nuts and raisins. Grease two loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
