Pecan French Toast

Ingredienti

  • loaf French Bread
  • 1 1/2 cups half and half
  • 1 1/2 cups Milk
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1/2 cup butter

  1. Cut French bread into 8 equal pieces and place them cut side up in a greased 8X 11 baking dish
  2. Mix milk, 1/2 and 1/2, eggs, cinnimon, nutmeg and vanilla and pour over bread
  3. Cover and refrigerate overnight
  4. Mix topping ingredients, brown sugar, maple syrup, pecans, and melted butter and pour over french toast just before baking it in a 350 degree oven for 50 minutes.
  5. Serve with maple syrup
