Green Onion and Apple Sausage: Breakfast-Brunch

Servings: 4

Prep time:30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 lb ground pork

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne

  • 1/8 teaspoon white pepper

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons ground sage

  • 4 green onions, thinly sliced

  • 1 Granny Smith apple, fine diced

  • 1/2 tablespoon honey

  • Lemon, juiced

Step 1:

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.

Step 2:

Form into 3/4 inch thick patties.

Step 3:

In a cast iron skillet over moderate heat, cook sausage patties until center is no longer pink.

Step 4:
