We offer rural hospitality and a romantic escape to those who visit Jerusalem but prefer to avoid the hassle of town and stay at the calm and the birds of Bet Zayit, the closest village to Jerusalem (7KM). Bet Zayit , nestled on a hill , is located about 30 minutes drive from Ben Gurion Airport and 15 minutes drive from the old city of Jerusalem.It can serve you as a base of touring all over Israel.The suite upstairs overlooks our garden and the beautiful village of Ein Karem. It consists of 2-3 bedrooms , a living room and a kitchen. Separate entrance . Another option is a studio for couples downstairs. It overlooks the garden with a direct access to it. You can have your meals in the garden .The two apartments on offer are fully furnished and equipped. We can accommodate 2-9 guests. Parking under roof in the garden. Prices may change according to season and length of stay.Since we rent on a self-catering basis prices do not include breakfast .Mini-Market ,restaurants and a shopping center close by.

Ilana's is a lovely peaceful place to stay outside of Jerusalem yet conveniently close. It is especially good if you have a rental car as they offer plenty of covered parking spaces. They have lovely gardens to enjoy surrounding their place. They do not offer any meals but are very helpful in directing one to restaurants & places to buy groceries for your kitchen, etc. The innkeepers themselves are very hospitable, helpful, lovely people with a wealth of knowledge about the area. The accommodations are not fancy but they are private, peaceful & pleasant. There was ample hot water for a nice long shower & nothing to complain about. I would definitely stay again & reccommend it to anyone who enjoys peace, privacy, the beauty of natural surroundings & very gracious hosts.

You take No 1 highway to Jerusalem and after the exit to Mevaseret Zion slow down and watch for the next exit to Motza -Bet Zayit where you leave the highway and enter a very pleasant mountain road which leads to Bet Zayit .It is all marked. After you leave the main road you drive about 5 minutes. When you reach the box of the guardien you continue to the left for 2 minutes drive and reach the center of the village. While the Silo tower and bus station beside are on your right you turn immediately after , to your right, and proceed 50 meters straight to the second junction where you turn left to Derech Hazeitim st (all indicated in English ). The fifth house on your right is Shoket No 14 .You climb up to the garden courtyard and enter any of the closest covered parkings to our house .
