My friend got married in the Ferrycarrig Hotel Last weekend. She wanted to stay in a home environment the night before her big day. The Ferrigcarrig Lodge was a Home away from Home. From the minute we pulled up the driveway it was obvious that this was the right choice. The gardens and scenery were stunning. The bedrooms were spotless; they had some really nice touches and charming furniture. The breakfast was set out on a magnificent oval shaped table with anything you wanted and plenty of it. The best part of the stay was the lady who owned the house - Margaret. She couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. She let the hairdresser and make-up artist come to the B&B. The hairdresser set-up in one of the bedrooms. The Make-up artist took over the front room down stairs. The phototapher had the run of the house to take pictures. We were drinking Champagne and walking around the B& B as if it was our own. Margaret really started my friend’s Wedding Day off to a fantastic start. The Ferrycarrig Lodge is a picturesque place to stay.
