    Galway - Take N6 out of Galway and then take N18 to Ennis. Take N85 to Ennistymon and take a right in Ennistymon onto N67 to Lahinch. Pass over the bridge. Pass Church on left hand side. Then Travel for 1.5km on the N67 towards Lahinch. Take the 2nd left turn, signposted for Shannondoc. Take the first
    right. The siding is at the top of this road facing down onto the N67.

      Our B&B is situated on the old west clare railway line. The gatekeepers cottage is behind us. Spotted Dick is sweet white bread with raisins and the puppies are smaller scone versions for children. This is also known as Railway cake as it was tradionally brought on railway journeys by the workers or travellers
