We are ideally located in downtown Dublin beside Heuston Rail Station and the Phoenix Park with many tourist attractions within strolling distance. We are ideally located for both business and tourist travellers. By tram at Heuston Station (LUAS) we are just minutes from O' Connell Street, Temple Bar and the main shopping districts. In addition, many tourist attractions are within strolling distance such as the world famous Guinness brewery and the Irish whiskey corner, the National Museum of Ireland at Collins Barracks, the Modern Art Museum, Kilmainham Gaol and Dublin Zoo. The hop-on hop-off tour bus passes along the street with a designated stop for Ryan’s Victorian pub, where you can enjoy a great pint and a tasty meal. There are several pubs, restaurants and shops on bustling Parkgate street. In addition, the Phoenix Park, which houses Dublin Zoo and is Europe's largest enclosed park is on our doorstep. Facilities include free Wifi in the dining room, and for guests without a laptop or smart phone there is a PC Station with printer. Relax in the comfortable sitting room where you will find plentiful tourist information and a small library of books which you are welcome to borrow.
Dublin, Ireland(DUB) 10 miles
From Dublin Airport - Take the 748 Airlink bus to Heuston Station. On reaching Heuston, cross the bridge and turn left, the Gate Lodge is on the left after the next set of traffic lights - about a 3 minute walk. If you are thinking of hiring a car I would not recommend it. As in Dublin there is very little parking and the traffic can be very confusing even for locals ( lots of one way systems). My advice would always be to use public transport in Dublin and hire a car to tour the rest of the island of Ireland.

My parents Edmond & Eileen have retired and I run the b&b while looking after my adorable 2 year old daughter. Doesn't leave much time these days for hobbies but I am very fond of sailing and going to rugby matches. My husband works in Dublin airport and is a keen cyclist.
