Kilkern house is located on the coast 5km from both Rosscarbery and Clonakilty in the south West of County Cork. Travel 4 miles West of Clonakilty on the N71 route, continue past the Pike Bar and take the next signposted left hand turn for Rathbarry. Kilkern House is well signposted from this point and is situated at the edge of Lake Kilkern.

On exiting the aiport take the 3rd exit at the roundabout. Travel 2.5miles and turn right for Bandon and Clonakilty signposted on the N71. When you reach clonakilty travel 4 miles West of Clonakilty on the N71 route, continue past the Pike Bar and take the signposted left hand turn for Rathbarry. Kilkern House is well signposted from this point and is situated at the edge of Lake Kilkern.
