      See directions on our website at .glencairnbb.ie. From the N25 take the N28 for Ringaskiddy, Carrigaline, Douglas and Rochestown for 1.3 km. Then take the exit onto the R610 for Rochestown and Passage West. Go 1.9 km to a sign on the right for the Glencairn B&B. Continue 150m and turn right into Underwood, and a further 150m to the second Glencairn B&B sign on the right. Drive down the driveway into the parking area.

      At he Airport Roundabout take the N27 for Cork City, the N25, the N28 and all other routes for 2.3 km. At the Kinsale Road Roundabout take the 4th exit for the N25 East for 3.2km to the N28 exit for Ringaskiddy, Carrigaline, Douglas and Rochestown for 1.3km. Stay to the left for the exit onto the R610 for Douglas and Rochestown. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the R610 for Rochestown and Passage West.     Superb! The best B&B we have stayed, not only for the rooms and facilities ( which are really great),but also for the kidness of Helen and John. You really feel at home!

    John and Helen are one of the sweetest couples you'll ever meet. They really made sure that my sister and I had everything we needed and helped out in any way they could. When they found out we were the only guests staying for the night they happily upgraded us to a bigger room for the same price. My sister and I felt very welcomed and in the morning we were greeted with a wonderful Irish breakfast and some lovely traditional Irish music playing in the background. Helen even did a little Irish dance performance for us :) The place itself was so quaint and comforting and there's a nice patio where you eat that is surrounded by plants and flowers. Overall, we had an amazing time in Ireland and would recommend the Glencairn B&B to anyone.

    We felt as if we were at home. John and Helen are very friendly and were always concerned about our welfare. In addition they always had good tips for places to go. Our room and bathroom were beautifully and lovingly furnished. The garden is fabulous and a dream. It was also nice that we could share our daily experiences with our hosts. The breakfast was very good and tasty. On one evening we sat with the other visitors in the garden around the fire with beer and wine. The B&B is in a quiet semi rural area, but very near the city and has good access to daytrip destinations. The Glencairn Bed and Breakfast is highly recommended.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Glencairn B&B: the room was beautiful, the bed roomy and comfortable, the bathroom clean and everything in perfect order. Breakfast in the conservatory was wonderful, and we enjoyed getting to know the other guests around the table. John and Helen are lovely hosts, friendly and inviting, and we particularly appreciated them allowing our dog to stay with us in our room. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer- it was by far the most enjoyable stay in a B&B we've ever had! We'll definitely be back!
