Barker House is within the village of Glin on a large private site with free parking space. All beautifully appointment ensuite bedrooms are equipped with TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Our dining room / guest lounge is spacious and offers a warm open fire on those cold evenings. We are only just one hour from Shannon International Airport and 40 mins. from Limerick city and are ideally located for touring the Southwest. Barker House is 5 miles from the Shannon Ferry, Tarbert to Killimer.

Take the N69 coming from Limerick. As you approach Glin, Barker House is roughly 300 metres off the N69 and is well sign posted on the N69. Turn off the N69 for Barker House in front of Adams/Peugot Filling Station, this road will meet a T junction after 150 metres where you will turn left and Barker House is on another 150 metres on the right.

As you approach Limerick, coming from Shannon,
take the last exit on the second roundabout
which will mention Cork,N20,N69 etc.,
Drive straight through the next roundabout.
At the roundabout after crossing the river shannon, take the last exit and again it will say Cork/N20/N69 etc.
At this stage you are on the N69, you will drive straight through all roundabouts from here on, only a couple.
Glin is on the N69 and Barker House is well signposted as you approach Glin.
It takes roughly 50min to get to Glin after crossing the river Shannon.
