The Carriage House Bed & Breakfast is a beautiful Queen Anne style Victorian home. In the summer months guests gather on the front porch to lounge in the white wicker furniture or swing on the cushioned porch swing. In winter they play the piano in the front parlor or read by the fire in the central parlor. We serve a gourmet breakfast of fresh fruit, an egg dish such as mushroom quiche, meat (perhaps glazed sausages), and warm breads including Irish Soda Bread fresh from the griddle. Arrington's Journal for 2004 named Carriage House Bed and Breakfast under the heading of"Best in the Midwest".

Located in Grinnell, Iowa just north of Interstate 80. Take exit 182 then Highway 146 3 miles north to Grinnell. At 6th Ave(4th stop light)turn right. Go East 2 blocks to Broad St(1st stop light) turn left on Broad. We are at 1133 Broad at the end of the first block on your left (south west corner of intersection)
