As an innkeeper we know you wear many different hats: from general manager, to chef, to marketing director and so much more. We are announcing an award to recognize the many amazing things that innkeepers do to market their B&B. As a small business owner, you don't have the resources to pay for a national advertising campaign, so you have to be even more creative and efficient with your execution. Tell us what you have done in the past year that goes above and beyond your normal marketing efforts.
Have you (or an innkeeper you know) done something in the past year out of the marketing norm that has attracted guests to your B&B during the off season? Did you start a blog that's received national attention and increased occupancy rates by xx%? Have you updated your inn amenities and packages to attract a whole new generation of traveler? Or perhaps you’ve started cooking classes to get people to your B&B during the low season? Being the B&B Marketer of the Year means that you're a B&B marketing all-star and that you've implemented marketing efforts that have had a significant impact on your bottom line.
The B&B Marketer of the Year will win a $1,000 Lowe's Gift Card, six months free flowers from The Bouqs, a plaque, and site wide recognition with travelers and innkeepers. The two runners-up will receive a $100 Lowe's Gift Card and three months of free flowers from The Bouqs.
A panel of judges will decide on the winner, including:
Fill out our application on why you should be the winner by Monday, September 15. You can also nominate another innkeeper.
