BedandBreakfast.com Gift Cards/Certificates
BedandBreakfast.com gift cards purchased via the BedandBreakfast.com website and from participating innkeepers are issued in any amount the customer selects, starting at the $25 minimum. BedandBreakfast.com gift cards sold at retailers come in $50 and $100 denominations.
Although samples are pictured above, many new designs are being developed and will be for sale via the BedandBreakfast.com website and retail channels. To determine a card’s/certificate's validity, click
check balance and enter the order and card/certificate numbers. You will then see a screen that shows the remaining balance, if any, on the certificate, and will indicate if the card or certificate is valid. If prospective guests explain that they want to use BedandBreakfast.com gift cards/certificates, check the certificates' validity in advance of their arrival, just as you might check the validity of a credit or debit card.
To redeem gift cards/certificates:
- Log in to your Home Base on BedandBreakfast.com.
- Click Accept Cards/Certificates.
- Click Redeem Cards/Certs.
- 4. Enter both the card/certificate number and the order number in the appropriate spaces to verify its authenticity.
-
The redemption system will verify
the card/certificate's validity and will show the current balance available on the
certificate. If the number is not valid and/or has a zero balance, do not accept it!
-
If the card/certificate is valid and has a positive
balance, simply enter the amount to redeem (up to the maximum amount currently
available on the certificate) and click Submit. You will be asked to
submit the amount a second time to minimize the chance of an unintentional
error. You will then see a receipt with the remaining amount available
on the certificate (if any), and a transaction number.
-
If no funds remain on the card/certificate, click to print
a receipt, and give it to your guest.
-
If funds are still available, click to print a
receipt as well as a replacement certificate that will show the remaining
balance on the certificate.
-
Gift cards/certificates issued after August 31, 2005, do not
expire.
-
If a potential guest has an expired certificate
(issued prior to August 31, 2005), go to
check balance and enter the order and certificate numbers to see if the
certificate is still valid (some were extended), and if so, to check the
remaining balance. If the certificate is valid, you can accept it, and we will
reimburse you as noted below.
-
If you do not have a printer available, give the
guest the transaction number along with the new balance so they can record it.
-
BedandBreakfast.com will then automatically deposit
85% of the redemption amount into your bank account via Direct Deposit,
officially known as Electronic Funds
Transfer (EFT). We will notify you by email when this happens. If you
prefer, we can send U.S. properties a check ($10 processing fee per check applies; one
check can cover multiple certificates). The deposit will appear on your
statement from Goldreyer, Inc.
-
To log payments,
Log in to your Home Base on BedandBreakfast.com, then click Accept Cards/Certificates, then Payments.
