Along Magazine Street, you'll find the Terrell House. This historic inn, which dates back to the mid-19th century, was once home to the rich cotton broker Richard Terrell. It's a truly breathtaking structure—a three-story stucco mansion that features main and carriage houses. It retains many of its original features, including ceiling medallions, antique decor, and plaster moldings. You'll be shown to one of six guest rooms or two suites, each with its own private bath and many adorned with cypress furniture made by a local craftsman.
