We always try to stay at the Cushing Manor when we visit South Bend. It's especially nice if one appreciates authentic historical buildings. Breakfast is excellent. It's a bit expensive on football weekends, but otherwise is a good value.

This late 1800's home is just beautiful. It has been well maintained and meticulously appointed. My room was comfortable and the food and service was excellent. This is where I'll stay the next time I'm in town.
