The spacious dining room is decorated with French mural woodblock wallpaper from Zuber & Cie, depicting early colonial scenes. Designed in 1834, the same wallpaper is in the Presidential White House.
The McGuffey room is furnished with a queen size sleigh bed, antique armoire and dresser. Decorated in plaids, this room has the charm of the Scottish Highlands.
The Wordsworth room has a cozy adjoining sun room with a hand painted sleigh bed.
The Margaret Mitchell room has a solid mahogany West Indies four poster bed. Katelin's "Gone With the Wind" collection decorates a room worthy of Tara. The adjoining room has a bay window and single bed perfect for extra guests.

Cool Breeze is for sweethearts, friends getting together, history buffs, mothers and daughters, burdened hearts, bird lovers, family reunions. We're here when you need to get away to revive yourself or get closer to one that you care about. Built in 1906, it was once the home of Joseph Graham, truck and auto builder and Giltner Ingleheart of Swans-down Cake Flour. All rooms have private baths, queen size beds, clock-radios, digital cable television and phones.

This was my first time staying at a bed and breakfast, so I didn't know what to expect. One of the main reasons I stayed here was for the price and for the history. The home is beautiful and I felt right at home with Katelin, Dave, and their little dog. I stayed in the McGuffey room which was very spacious and comfortable. They have wifi and satellite TV, which was nice. Katelin was a gracious host and prepared breakfast for me which included pancakes, eggs, and english biscuits (I'm traditional, what can I say). I enjoyed talking with Dave... both of them seem very interested in history. If you're looking to get away from the chain hotel and stay at a place that feels like home, I can definitely recommend Cool Breeze. I hope to stay again soon on my next visit to Evansville.

Evansville, IN is so fortunate to have such a beautifully appointed and relaxing B&B in Cool Breeze Estates. Katelyn and David, the owners, were gracious, warm hosts and made my week stay in this Midwestern town enjoyable and relaxing even in my busy work week!

First ever stay at a B&B so we didn't know what to expect. Our hosts could not have been nicer nor more accomodating.. It was almost like being at home - but better. Obviously I can't speak for other B&B's, but we would not hesitate to stay at this inn on our next trip to Evansville. Thank you David and Caitlin. for sharing your home.

We had an excellent stay at Cool Breeze. Katelin & David have a beautiful home, with comfortable rooms and beds. Breakfast was delicious and satisfying. Buffy, the greeter dog, is a gem, happy when we arrived & sad when we left. If we are ever through Southern Indiana again, we will definitely stay here!
