I spent two nights at the Scottish B & B with my almost grown-up daughters. It was just perfect. The house and the hosts radiated calm, and immediately made us feel relaxed and welcome. Bremen is not far from Chicago, but we felt a million miles from the rushed pace of our daily lives. I TOTALLY recommend this B & B for families, groups, or couples. The food was scrumptious, the room was large, and the company was delightful.

We stayed 1 night in the King Room...it was a very beautiful room. Everything was very elegant and unbelievably clean. Homer was very, very friendly when we checked in and was very welcoming not to mention very knowledgeable . Brenda is so sweet and she really makes you feel like your family...she's very good at remembering names: ) Breakfast was incredible, I don't think we've had a better breakfast at any restaurant. Thank you both for making our stay a memorable one...we will definitely will be returning and we will tell all our friends and family. Kevin and Angie David

I treated a friend and myself to two nights at this B&B, and we enjoyed it very much. The highlight is the breakfasts: large and classy and very delicious. Nice to have many different seating areas to pick from, including the pool room. The pool itself was clean though pretty shallow with a max depth of four feet and only about three feet of water filling it when we were there. Beyond that and maybe more stairs than would be ideal, this was a peaceful and restoring place to be. I'm sending relatives there next month and know they will enjoy it.

My husband and I have stayed at many B&Bs but this one was one of our favorites. The inkeepers, Homer and Brenda, were so helpful and friendly. The King Room that we stayed in was very nice and the breakfasts were incredible! Came away hoping my husband wasn't going to expect those breakfasts at home though. :)

The best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at.

My wife and I stayed at the Scottish Bed and Breakfast from Saturday February 27th- March 3rd 2010 while celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. The host's Brenda and Homer made us feel like family. Their gracious hospitality was beyond what we normally find while staying at a bed and breakfast. Not only did they make you feel at home and would do anything to make your stay great, they actually took time out to talk and share stories with us. It didnt feel like a Inn-keeper/client relationship, it felt like we had known Brenda and Homer for years. They went out of their way to make our stay great. Brenda scheduled a manicure/pedicure treatment for my wife which was great. Also, the dishes that Brenda served each morning were out of this world. They were some of the most delicious and elegant breakfast dishes we have ever eaten. I got to talk to Homer a little bit and it was very enlightning. Also he took the time to sit down with my wife for an interview for a paper that she was writing for a Sociology Class. Homers insight into the Amish Heritage was just fascinating. Beyond the Host's the room was immaculate with the most beautiful hardwood flooring I have ever seen. We stayed in the King Suite. My wife enjoyed the Jacuzzu in the room as well. It was also nice to have your own private TV/DVD setup in the room as well. The Bed and Breakfast was beautiful and up-kept as if it was new. We will definately go back this summer to visit again. If I had to recommend one bed and breakfast ( and my wife and I have been to quite a few) it would be this one hands down. The greatest Bed and Breakfast experience we have ever had. Thank you so much Brenda and Homer, we look forward to seeing you again this Summer.
