Abbey Inn

My husband and I decided to stay here for our 28th wedding anniversary. Couldn't have been more pleased. the room was so nice, CLEAN!! and the entire atmosphere was calm and quiet. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed or wanted. We are already planning next year's anniversary get away. just need to decide what room to book next time.

We SO enjoyed our stay at the Magnolia Suite! Our room was HUGE! Everything felt so luxurious! It was extremely clean and we had the ultimate privacy! I would highly recommend!

We had a very nice stay at the Abbey Inn at Brown County. It is nestled nicely right outside of the state park. Warm and friendly staff and quiet atmosphere.

Check in was smooth very friendly staff. This place is everything that you need to get away, wind down and just relax. It was better than I expected it to be. Just remember that a hot tub in your room has chemicals that give off a little odor and has a motor that yes makes noise but what would you expect your coming to an inn with a hot tub in your room. Anyway my wife and I loved the inn, thank you Abbey Inn for providing us with a great two days.

It was pricey, but nice. I would do it again but I would look for a coupon or special.

Rooms are simple but adequate. Could use the addition of a microwave since there is no restaurant on site. Bed was firm and comfortable. Others have complained about the motor noise from the hot tub, but I did not find it at all disturbing. Friendly and helpful staff.

My husband and I decided to get away for a night and Abby Inn was the perfect place. The hot tub was relaxing and amazing very clean. The bed was comfortable, the room its self was a nice size .very peaceful and quite. The front desk, the people that were all there during our stay went above and beyond. We had breakfast that was great, service there to. We will be back!!!!! The Harrops

The rooms were great and my husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was friendly and it was a great get away!

Most restaurants in the immediate area closed fairly early, but Bloomington is only about 15 miles away and many places there are open later. It was very quiet and relaxing with no outside noise or annoyances. The staff was very friendly and not bugging us the whole time we were there.

The Ivy Room was awsome. It was clean, and very private. It was also close enough to town that you could go have a Good time.. The hot tub was a really nice touch to the weekend also.. We will be back again.. No Doubt!!!

Room was comfortable (altho mattress on bed not the greatest) and attached kitchenette area was very nice. The hot tub alcove was nice. It took a few hours for the water in the tub to warm up, but once it did, it stayed nice and hot.

We got married and stayed two nights we loved the room and jacuzzi! We had a wonderful time

We had to book the Abbey Inn at the last minute after a booking we had made at a different location ran into issues and would not work with us to get us the accomodations we had paid for. The front desk clerk working when we checked in at the Abbey Inn was absolutely wonderful. The property was very beautiful and quiet and with a no-children policy was a great escape from our everyday life. The hot tub in our room worked perfectly and helped to make this a very relaxing stay. We will go here again and you should too!

This was a great place to elope. The staff was amazing and the chapel was simple, yet beautiful. The room was also great. There weren't any fine dining restaraunts very close, but we found the perfect place that was only a 15 min drive. I would highly recommend the Abbey Inn.

I took my husband on a surprise Birthday Night to the Abbey-Inn and we had a wonderful time. Check in was very simple. We stayed in the Peach Blossom suite. It is a nice suite in the back of the property with a beautiful view of the Gazebo and Brown County Park. The room is a great size with a King bed, sound machine, Ipod docking clock station, flat screen, DVD and an electric fireplace. The bathroom was very spacious with a shower and the hot tub. We had no problems with chlorine smells or loud noises coming from the hot tub (as mentioned in previous posts.) I would agree the sheets could be updated as felt a little worn with some pilling. The room did get cold at night and since there is no room thermostat it was a little uncomfortable-until we figured out to put the electric fireplace on to throw some heat. The common area did not have extra towels, movies or coffee as listed per their website but I was able to get an extra towel easily before the clerk left for the evening. We added the breakfast buffet for 2 at the Artist Colony when we booked online and that was fabulous-especially for $4/ person which is a steal!! Overall I would say we thoroughly enjoyed our outing and will definitely be back again in the future. The other room many have recommended is the Dogwood Suite so we may try that.

We went to Abbey Inn for a small weekend getaway to celebrate our engagement. We had an amazing time! The rooms were very clean and nice! Everyone we encountered was exceptionally nice. It was the perfect weekend away! We will definately be back!

I would tell anyone that would wanna get away from it all and be in driving distance to some fantastic food , shops, and scenery . This is the place to be. The staff was very nice , rooms were cleaned daily , well just a good overall experience. I had taken my first love of my life there after 28 yrs. of being apart . And it will be one of my fondness memories

My bride & I enjoyed our wedding and honeymoon at the Abbey Inn in Nashville, IN Brown county. The peacefull surroundings, privacy and lovely accoumodations were great. We are both in our 70's and hope to return to celebrate many anniversaries. We would highly recommend it for any couple getting married or celebrating special occassions. The suite was spacious and we enjoyed the hot tub, fireplace and setting of the Inn. The fried bisquits at the Artist Colony were also excellent. We took some for our trip home. Thanks to the staff of the Abbey Inn for helping us plan and enjoy our wedding and honeymoon.

We had a lovely 2-night stay at the Abbey Inn. Our room was quiet and comfortable, the hot tub easy to use and lovely, and the entire experience stellar. We also took advantage of the couple's massage and enjoyed it thoroughly. We had one very minor issue with the room (the shampoo dispenser wasn't working) and it was fixed immediately when we mentioned it. We will certainly be back! Had to enter a rating for "dining" to submit the review, but this facility didn't have dining options....

We had a very nice time. We have been here many times and our expectations were met in every way.

We enjoyed our evening and opted to stay in the room and enjoy the hot tub verses going out in town. The inn keeper was very helpful with directions and places to dine or entertainment!

We arrived there and the staff was very nice. The room was better than anything we had imagined. We definitely plan on going back for our next vacation.

The only problem with our stay was that no one came to do room service in our suite when we were there for three nights. We kept putting the sign up on our door, and no one ever came. We were also told over the phone that our hot tub water would be changed daily, and that never happened either. This is not a deal breaker for us. But, I expected more and was confused why there was hardly any service available. Hardly no one was at the front desk also. Thank you.

We came to Abbey Inn to get married and really enjoyed the stay. The room was great amd we especially enjoyed the hot tub in the room. The wedding chapel was very nice and the ceremony was short, simple and sweet. We look forward to visiting again.

My friend and I spent two nights at Abby Inn last week,,,. and were very pleased. The lack of staff,, which they warn you of in advance,, was a nice change. It was like we had the whole place to ourselves. The three days and two nights we spent were very relaxing. The building and grounds were very inviting,,. And the lack of telephones in the rooms? This was our 3rd time staying at The Abbey Inn and we will return! We love the time away from our hectic everyday lives and the alone time we get to spend relaxing. We Love the fact that the rooms have their own private hot tubs and it is so peaceful. We can't wait til our next trip! Thank you Abbey Inn!

The Abbey Inn is easy access to Nashville and Brown Co State Park. What a lovely, private, romantic place to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The rooms were huge, with very private entrances and impeccably, tastefully decorated. The breakfast buffet coupons were an amazing bargain to a wonderful local restaurant.

The rooms are big and clean. The only downside we found was the shower was not very hot and no water pressure.

The Abbey is quaint, clean, and ever so quiet. Even though it was full the weekend of our stay, we never heard a peep. The perfect place for a romantic getaway.

The room was very nice and included a spacious hot tub. The breakfasts were quite tasty. Negatives would be the dvd collection and vending machines and the price ($200 a night is a bit high in my opinion).

The bed was worn out and broken down . My wife and I both had sore backs each morning which spoils the romantic getaway . I complained to the front deskand they did nothing to resolve the problem.

Very much enjoyed my stay at the Apple Cabin. Would like for you to know though, the coffee maker and sweeper did not work. Other than that, everything was great!!! Would love to come back next year. Oh, one more thing, I do not like the fact I couldn't get my money back if I would've needed to cancel, because you never know when an emergency could happen.

The size and yard of the sweetheart cabin was excellent. This dining room table needs replaced as it has lots of scratches etc., and looks old. Also the toaster was broken as well as handles broken off on several coffee cups!

The room was very cozy and clean. The only issue was the strong chlorine smell from Hot Tub but not sure that can be avoided. I got use to it the second night. Staff was friendly.

The Abbey Inn was very enjoyable. It was so nice to have a personal hot tub in the room. Additionally, the optional couple's massage add-on was a nice. My only negative feedback would be that there were a lot of lady bugs in the room that probably came through the patio door. The Abbey Inn should probably spray for bugs.

I thought the Abbey Inn was a nice place to stay. It was a little out of Nashville, but very convenient to get back into town or head out to the State Park.

We stayed here for our 12th anniversary. The room was beautiful, the staff friendly and helpful and the grounds are lovely. Our stay was so relaxing and quiet. We will definitely stay again and will also tell friends. If you are planning a stay in Brown County, I would highly recommend the Abbey Inn.

We went there for our wedding and honeymoon. It was wonderful! Our room was perfect, beautiful scenery and the wedding personnel were very nice and helpful. We couldnt have been happier.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Lilac Room, we came a year before & loved it so much.. decided we'd give it a go again, of course it was wonderful, peaceful, & secluded. No one bothered us.. I don't think we seen another guest. The clerk even came to help out with a hot tub issue (which didn't bother us any...he was quick to help) I definitely recommend this place to stay. We plan to come each wedding anniversary :)

Room and lobby was very clean. Good privacy. Courtyard and decor was aesthetically pleasing. Access to hot tub was nice, but since it does not shut off it affected my sleep. It continued to run the entire day and night.

This was the second year we stayed at the Abbey Inn for our anniversary. It is so peaceful, relaxing and stress free. The rooms are very comfortable and the hot tubs are very relaxing, especially after a couples massage. The massage therapist's were wonderful both years we have been there, we have had the couples massage. My husband and I will be seeing Abbey Inn every September for our anniversary. Thank you Abbey Inn and all the wonderful massage therapist. You are all very professional!.

Spent a wonderful 2 nights in the Periwinkle room. Private balcony looking over a pond, large hottub, comfortable bed. What more do you want??? Will be back!!

The room was just what was advertised.. The hot tub in the room was a constant hum but it was not a distraction and did not interfere with sleep. The Inn was quiet and we rarely saw any of the other guests. There is no restaurant on site. The breakfast coupons were down in town, but the meal was fine and the travel to the other B&B was not a bother. We stayed for a combo business trip and anniversary get away. My wife doesn't like traditional B&Bs - she liked this!

We stayed in the Sweatheart cabin with our son and his family for a long weekend. The cabin is beautiful and very comfortable!! Had a few extra bugs living in the corners and bathroom, but it is in the woods. Hurricane Isaac decided to linger in the area the entire time we were there so it rained the ENTIRE time we were there. We ventured out some but mostly enjoyed the cabin and hot tub on the covered porch. We had a wonderful time!! Note: We cooked our meals in the nicely equipped kitchen in the cabin, but could have used some hot pads/pot holders and a couple of serving dishes.

I booked a room at the Abbey Inn for two nights over Labor Day weekend for a quick getaway with my new husband. We stayed in the Jasmine Room. The room was very nice (especially for the price). The hot tub was spacious. Everything was exactly as we expected or better. Check in and out was super quick. We paid for vouchers to have breakfast at the Artist's Colony in Nashville. It was a great little breakfast buffet. The only problem we had was with the couple's massage we booked through the Abbey Inn, but the problem was not with the hotel itself. The massage company ended up canceling on us, and Abbey Inn gave us a full refund right away (it was credited to my bank account before we left town). I would recommend doing spa activities through Ethereal Day Spa (http://www.etherealvillage.com/) in town. We booked a couples package that included facials, a hot tub soak, a rain forest shower and a couples massage for just $90 more than it would have been for a couples massage at the hotel.

This is our second year of spending our anniversary at the Abbey Inn. We had the Lilac Room last year which was wonderful, but the Peach Blossom Room was even better. It was a magical stay filled with quiet and good alone time. This room has everything romantic that you can think of right down to the wine glasses, fireplace and hot tub. We decided this year that the Abbey Inn would be our annual retreat for our anniversary.

This is our 3rd visit to the Abbey Inn over the past few years, and we continue to be impressed! From the efficient check-in to the private setting to the beautifully remodeled suites, I can't imagine staying anywhere else when visiting Brown County. We will definitely be booking it again for our visit next year!

The grounds and outside area was amazingly beautiful! The room was average (nothing different than a franchise motel), which we felt was WAY over priced for few amenities. Due to the romantic portrayal of the Inn, we expected wine glasses instead of a plastic cup for our champagne, and more ornate furnishings. We had a great time visiting the shops in nearby Nashville, and had a FANTASTIC meal at a local restaurant, the Hob Nob. It was a great "one time" experience, but doubt we will return for the amount charged....

We stay in the same room every year in honor of not only our anniversary of first meeting, but also our anniversary of our engagement by the pond in 2010. We enjoyed the room as always as far as the setup and cleanliness. We have noticed a decline in the overall experience at the Abbey Inn compared to our first stay in 2009. The bathroom door still does not close completely, there was no corkscrew for our array of Brown County and Chateau Thomas wines. I had to make two trips to the office to get a corkscrew that worked. The television reception for the few times we watched TV was very spotty. The picture, being Dish Network, kept blanking out over and over. The table we always used in the past on our semi-private patio was no longer there for our wine and cheese. We were unable to fully engage the deadbolt to the front door due to there not being enough clearance in the door frame hole. We had also purchased the couples massage which was enjoyable, other than the lack of consistency in the massage of each side. The environment was peaceful and quiet as always, which is one of the main reasons we stay there. If attention is brought to the little things then our stay will be back to the level it was in 2009. Still a great place to stay!

I googled romantic getaways and found abbey inn. We liked what we seen online and booked it. When we got there we really liked the location, the setting of the place, our room and the view we got from our room. We did kinda wish there was somebody there 24/7 just in case but we never did need them. We actually can't wait to go back. I would like to be able to see which room is located where. That way if I wanted a different room next time I could decide by what we will see out our window.

Very nice inn. My wife and I needed a quick getaway and found this inn. It was just what we needed. Very quiet and the hot tub in the room was very nice. The bed was very comfortable which I wasn't expecting since of my back problems. Very close to downtown Brown County which provides all the entertainment you would need for a very nice getaway. Would love to go back during the fall for the colors.

My wife and I returned to the Abbey a couple weeks ago for our second visit. We spent our wedding night in one of the rooms about a year ago. For that trip we arrived at midnight and hit the road pretty early. We loved our room but didn't get to experience much of the town, so we were very glad to be able to stay awhile longer this trip. As usual, when we arrived the room was breathtaking. It was spotless and welcoming. I have not been able to find any rooms with the accomodations the Abbey has within 500 miles of our home. Having the hot tub RIGHT THERE is just awesome. We thoroughly enjoyed the getting able to experience the town Friday night and Saturday afternoon. We were able to grab a nice pizza at harvest moon and take a nice stroll around town. We loved all the little shops and eateries. From what I can tell the Abbey is top notch as far as lodging in the area..we highly recommend it to everyone...

I looked all around on the internet for a nice romantic getaway place and I found the Abbey Inn. Abbey Inn is very beautiful, quiet, and romantic. We really enjoyed our stay, and hope to return in the future.

The Abbey Inn is a great place to get away!! The modern rooms, comfortable accomadations, hot tub for two and easy access to Nashville shops and restaurants make it a great place to relax and enjoy one another. We visit a few times each year and always look forward to going back.

When we arrived, our room was very warm. The AC was not doing a good job. we complained and we were moved to a suite on the lower level, which was nice. The hot tub is in a seperate room, which I'm sure helped with the room temperature. As far as value, we got the deal of a free night, during the week and even at that, the regular room is a little over priced. I would pay that, for two nights in the suite, though. We will consider another stay, but probably hope for cooler weather.

We LOVED staying at the Abbey Inn and we are already planning our next trip. This was the most relaxing weekend we have had since we had kids.

We stayed here one night and got here a little late. The room was very beautiful and the jacuzzi was well maintained. We did not see anyone the whole time we were there. The grounds were beautiful and clean. The prices were a little higher than what they advertised, but they said this was due to their peak season.

Stayed 2 nights for our Anniversary. The room was clean and comfortable. The surroundings were beautiful! We were very impressed and had a very relaxing time. We will definitely return in the near future!

The room was very comfortable with nice amenities. The hot tub running all the time made a little noise but only about as much as a regular room air conditioner would. Overall, the visit was very relaxing and it was nice to sit outside on the patio in the evening.

My husband & I went to the Abbey Inn to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary and it was so incredibly relaxing! The staff made themselves non-existant and the shopping in Nashville was amazing! Really Really a nice quite get-a-way!

We were looking for a romantic getaway and stumbled across the Abby Inn and it by far exceeded our expectations. The staff is very helpful and the rooms are outstanding. The in-room hot tub was great the tempeture of the room and the hot tub was perfect and the surrounding views of the property was beautiful. We will be booking for a longer stay next time and we both feel that we have found our permenant romantic getaway spot for future visits.

We have stayed here three years in a row and my only complaint was having some loud people in the room above us walking around all night. The other two times have been perfect and I didn't want to leave.

Overall a great place to stay. My wife and I stayed for our one year anniversary and loved it. The only thing that I didn't like was no onsite dining. Everything else was just wonderful.

My husband and I stayed for one night on Mother's day weekend. The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. We were however disappointed to find out that when we went for our breakfast buffet the restaurant failed to let the Abbey Inn know they were closing breakfast early. But the Abbey Inn refunded our breakfast no questions asked. We had a wonderful time, it was so quiet and relaxing. We will definitely be back!

What an incredible stay! We spent the weekend in the beautiful Iris Suite and couldn't have been more amazed! Everything was perfect! The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and quaint. We were married in the gazebo. The ceremony was well organized, personal, and unforgettable. The vows were perfect to start our new life together! Thank you for memories that will last a lifetime!

I've never stayed at a bed and breakfast before the Abbey. And it was a pretty great first experience. The king size bed was so comfortable and I didn't wake up like I nomally do when my boyfriend gets up to use the restroom in the night. Its super close to Nashville, IN which was also an adventure. The staff was super friendly and available. Recommend the Abbey 100%

We recently stayed for 3 nights at the Abbey Inn's sweetheart cabin. The cabin was very cozily decorated, clean, and spaceous. It is close to the town and very conveniently located close to highways. We would definitely stay here again!!!!

The rooms were nice and very spacious. There wasn't an in house restaurant, but there were plenty of places to eat nearby. There were plenty of things to do in the area and I liked that they offered a library of movies and magazines if you wanted to stay in. We would definitely love to go back.

Room was very affordable, just what we needed for a quick getaway. The room had everything that we needed. Bed was comfortable and surroundings was quiet at night time.

I loved the fact that the hot tub was in the room. I thought the room was a little small. And not as nice as I thought it would be. Next time we will defently try out the suite.

This is the first time my wife and I have stayed at a bed and breakfast. The hot tubs and comfy beds were the two requirements that we had. The Abbey Inn met both very well in a nice setting, too. I just wish the jets on the hot tub were a bit stronger.

We always enjoy our stay at Abbey Inn. My husband loves fishing in the pond located in the back of the inn. I love the differant shops and the micro brewery. We both enjoy the hot tub.

Good quality and location for the price.The rooms were comfortable and we were one mile from all the shops and restaurants.

The room was much more spacious than the pictures gave credit for! We took advantage of the weekday special and had a relaxing, wonderful time.

The room was great just a lil smaller then I thought it would be but nice and cozy. But the smell from the molded fountain outside was over whelming from the time you pull into the parking lot til you get in the room and close the door. I do plan on going back justhope the fountain is cleaned up by then. I bet it is beautiful when its clean and working properly.

The Abbey Inn is a wonderful place to go for a quiet getaway. We stayed in suite #6 which is on the back side of the building. It's very secluded and overlooks the pond and the setup for weddings that they have. I can't speak to the dining, but the rooms, service, and overall experiences were great and I will definitely stay there again!

My husband and I checked in late, but everything we needed was readily available. Our room was clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries. The staff was very friendly. It was a just a great, little getaway. We came back refreshed and relaxed.

Our stay at Abbey Inn was all-around great. We stayed in the Periwinkle Room. It was clean, the hottub was wonderful, and the balcony had a nice view. We didn't dine at any inn-affiliated restaraunts, but the eateries in Nashville (particularly Holy Cow!) were really good.All in all, Nashville and the Abbey Inn are great places to visit.

My husband and I came to Abbey Inn to celebrate Valentines Day and stayed in the Lilac Room. The room was very quaint and romantic...we enjoyed it so much. The check in and check out process was easy. We enjoyed the DVD's they provided and the ice machine. The outside common areas are probably gorgeous in the spring and summer. Can't wait to return!

Nice to relax in hot tub right in the privacy of your own room and get a couples massage and not even have leave the Abbey. Your not even 5 mins from down town Nashville and the stores and restaurants were great and not even 5 mins to the park entrance so over all great location. Great Time can't wait to do it again!

My husband and I stayed at the Abbey Inn for our first time and I must say it was worth the money we spent. He had rose and fresh flowers put in the room and they were beautiful. I really enjoyed my stay at Abbey Inn. My husband and I took the weekend to get away from home and the tasks of life. Abbey Inn's rooms are large, and seem to be newly refurbished. While the stay was nice, there were a few essentials that the room lacked. There was nowhere to set our suitcases or personal belongings. A table or some sort of dresser would have been nice. The bathroom also laced surface space to set down personal toiletries. Other than that, the bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of pillows to make lounging on the bed quite nice.

stayed here as part of our Honeymoon. They gave us a free upgrade when we arrived. Awesome!

The Abbey Inn provided a nice get away for us. We were pleased with every aspect of the room, plus the peace and quiet were added bonuses.

We purchased the buy one get one night free, which is a good deal with a hot tub room. Only complaint.. the room was very cold. We stayed in January and there was literally no heat coming out of the vents. We uncovered the hot tub, turned on the electric fireplace and to no avail, we were freezing in the night. There are no individual thermostats.

I only stayed for one night but I really enjoyed myself. I spent the day walking around the small town of Nashville, In then I came back and relaxed in the hottub. It was a wonderful way to end my day. Thanks Abbey Inn.

We had a great stay at your place. The only thing that could be improved upon, in my opinion would be a folding door between the rooms. The temperature was almost unpleasant in our room after turning the hot tub up. Maybe having the ability to open a window would be an easy fix? Besides that, everything was very nice, we never really seen or heard another person the whole time. Very relaxing getaway!

Stayed in the sweetheart cabin for our Anniversary which is on New Years Eve. Had 2 other couples stay with us. Cabin is very nice and clean. Perfect for a larger gathering. Nice kitchen and living room area. Hot tub was nice, only complaint was for a cabin with 3 rooms a little larger hot tub is needed. Privacy fence around hot tub area was nice. Overall a very pleasent experience. Will definitely stay with the Abbey Inn again.

The room itself was great and atmosphere was very nice. The only problem was the bed mattress, time to replace it, flipping it won't help! Also the hot tub was very small, underfilled and smelled stale...no chemical smell.

My only complaint would be the front door and bathroom door for room #1. Both were very difficult to open and close. It was obvious shaving had been done, but the doors could use a little more work. Other than that, we will definitely be making it an annual tradition. We loved it!

We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary here at the Abbey Inn. Room was comfortable & nice. I would like to try one of the other rooms if we come again. Some of our first choices were already booked. We did a private vow renewal ceremony in the darling chapel at the Inn. The ceremony was sweet, but My husband and I would have likes to talks to the officiant more prior to the ceremony. We would have liked to have done the traditional, Christian vows. But, what we were actually doing in renewing our vows was the important thing even though the vows the officiant gave us were general for any belief system. We have fin memories of our stay and vow renewal at the Inn.

We went to Brown County the day after Christmas to get away for a few days. We were looking for a quiet, luxurious retreat. The room was exactly as it was photographed, and I was very pleased with the amoun of space and the cleanliness. The decor is soothing also. I enjoyed the hottub, and was glad we had a suite, so there was a door leading to a private room where we enjoyed the hottub. The hottub was noisy, and we could not turn it off, so I was glad for the sound barrier. The front desk person was not very friendly or helpful; I was disappointed that the questions I emailed before I came were unanswered. We bought a bed and breakfast package, but I did not know we had to drive into town for it. I much prefer having lodging that I can bring the food to my room and relax in the morning. The food at the restaurant was OK; nothing impressive, but the service there was excellent. The bathroom was a little small, and I would have liked a hair cap--standard in most hotel rooms. We were also very disappointed that the DVD player did not work. I would have appreciated a call or email after our visit apologizing for this inconvenience. Overall, since we paid 50% for the room, it was OK. I think next time I'll just bring breakfast from home so we can sleep in.

First trip to Brown County for a weekend get away for some stress relief from work. Pleasantly surprised at just how clean the room was. Very quiet and a perfect spot to relax.

my partner and i loved our stay at the abbey inn. The place was spotless and check in was a piece of cake. The hot tub was full sized and made our getaway even more enjoyable. I can only sing the praises of this B and B. What a wonderful weekend! PS, I loved the journal for all the couples to write in and read teh previous entries. What a charming idea.

This was our honeymoon; we stayed 5 nights, and the staff was thoughtful and attentive. I thought the mattress was somewhat worn, and they flipped it which seemed to work. Heat was too low, and they raised it. Very clean, bathrooms look recently updated. Good lcd TV and good dvd selection. Nice out of town setting, about 2 miles out of Nashville. Spa was nice to have. Very relaxing stay!

Staff was very frindly and helped with whatever questions or needs arised.

We came back to the Abbey Inn for our 2nd anniversary. It's a wonderful place to stay if you're looking for peace, quiet, tranquility, and to renew that spark in your relationship. The rooms are spacious and offer a hot tub. And they also have small kitchenettes, with mini frdige, microwave, sink, and some plates/utensils. I couldn't the dining category because there is no dining option available. Carryout back to the room is what it's all about!!!!!!!

The room was fabulous ! Very clean , cute and charming. Made you feel at home . I would recommend the Abby Inn to everyone. It was better than staying in a hotel room. My one and only complaint was that the jacuzzi water was not hot, it was luke warm. The room I stayed in had the jacuzzi in the bathroom which was great. A suggestion would be to put a wall mount tv in the bathroom, so while you are relaxing you have the tv. Overall I would definitely stay there again

I was very pleased with everything at The Abbey Inn. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were even nicer than they appear online. I would definatley recommend this facility. We had the Wedding performed in the chapel with just The Bride and Groom and Minister and it was perfect!

Everything was wonderful. No onsite dining, but there was a book available with close by resturants and some menus. It was a lovely stay. We will stay again, soon.

We stayed for 3 nights at the sweethearts cabin. The cabin was right off the highway , real easy to find. It was clean and cozy. We got to the cabin late so we didn't get to experience the customer service. The inn itself was clean and the atmosphere was welcoming and quite. I would definitely come back again. The only flaw was I wish that the hot tub was in the back yard and not on the front porch. Otherwise it was really nice.

There were 6 adults staying in the cabin. We were wishing the table had been bigger for meals and that there had been a few more dishes available for us to use.

The Abbey Inn was a very nice place to stay and very clean but a bit pricey

I stayed at the Abbey Inn for my honeymoon. Their second night free special made the stay worth it. However, if they did not have that special I wouldn't say the room was worth the price. I did have a lovely time. The place is adorable and cozy and romantic. The regular sized rooms do have a hot tub in them and it's wonderful! However there is no microwave which I feel is something most rooms anywhere should have, especially since there aren't a ton of food options in the area. Our second two nights we stayed in one of the suites. It was so much larger. Instead of having the bed and loveseat in one tiny area and the hottub and coffee maker in another, the suite had a separate space for the bed & hottub area, couch & tv & fireplace, and finally a kitchenette area. There was a microwave in the suite but that was the only added convenience the suite came with except for the space. The room was larger but way more expensive just for a microwave which is a bummer.

We stayed last week. Room was very nice and clean. Only issue is you have to be able to handle the hot tub running all night. I was ok with it, but my wife was not. The bed was comfortable and the setting was very nice.

Loved the Abbey Inn and the town of Little Nashville. We took advantage of the weekly deal they offer. The service was awesome! One small problem in our room and we were instantly upgraded to a larger room - The Iris Suite. Beautiful views of the park. I was hoping that we could walk to town from the Inn.....but it was only a very short drive to town. Only complaint...wish we could have stayed longer. Loved it all!

We enjoyed the time we spent at Abbey Inn. The room was clean and was serviced in a timely manner. We absolutely loved the hot tub. The only thing we were rather disappointed in was that the fountain and grounds didn't seem to be very well kept but overall it was a very nice experience.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Abbey Inn. This place definately knows how to to it. It was so quiet and lovely! It took no time at all to be completely relaxed, which was just what my wife and i needed for our 5th anniversary Thankyou so much Abbey Inn and next time we will definately do the massages also.

The Sweetheart cabin was quaint, just what one would expect esthetically. However, the bed was a nightmare; it should have been replaced several years ago. The sides of the bed rolled into the middle, so there was no problem finding your partner! There was no firewood for the nice fire pit outside, doggone, I forgot to pack my axe! The sewage smell emitting from the bathroom was horrible, but it didn’t seem to bother the insects and spiders, which pretty much had the run of the place. The Hot tub was nice, although, the way the rest of the place was kept, we sort of wondered when the last time it was cleaned, so kind of creepy in that respect, but it functioned properly and was nice at day’s end. If only they provided nice big fluffy towels and some robes, it would have been perfect, or at least tell us ahead of time they do not provide those types of special amenities so we would have known to bring our own. In summary, I suppose if you approach it with real low expectations, you might say it was worth the money, although I think the smell would still ruin it for you. The sad thing is, many people before us had logged in the journal which they provided, some of the very things same unacceptable issues we noted and obviously, they either don’t read them, or they don’t care. And, I suppose, why should they care when they already have your money. Too bad, it has potential to be a really nice place.

We went to Abbey Inn for our honeymoon. It was awesome! The hottub was so relaxing, the bed was comfortable, the quietness was a nice welcome and the privacy was the best. They furnished DVDs if you wanted, the service was outstanding and very friendly and courteous. We plan to come back each year for our anniversary and we are recommending Abbey Inn to all our family and friends. It is the perfect get-away for romance, privacy and to relax. No matter how young or old you are, it will make you fall in love all over again with your mate. We think the room we had was the best. In fact, I am ready to come back right now. I think you did everything right!!! You made us feel like it was just us there. Keep up the good work and we will see you next year and the next and so on. Most wonderful place and during the fall is the best time to be there. I am so glad you are close to us and hopefully we can get a weekend over before our anniversary.

Me and my husband stayed at the Abbey Inn for a romantic getaway. This was our first time staying at the Abbey Inn, and we were more than pleased!! The room looked right on with their website. The colors of choice were so perfect. It was very spacious, and cozy as well. We also had a balcony that looked out to a wooded area which was very nice. I honestly have NO complaints about our stay here. We LOVED it. I will go back again. If you want relaxation, and quiet, and romantic time with your loved one I would def choose Abbey Inn!! Also we were very late for check in, and I just knew we were not going to be able to get our room, they were so sweet they had our key hanging up for us when we got there. This is the best place I personally have every stayed, I didn't want to leave. The hot tub in the room was also wonderful! But vacation must come to an end LOL.

We had a very small wedding service at the gazebo. It was beautiful and very personal.

My fiance and I made the choice to celebrate our wedding night at the Abbey a few months back with very little knowledge of the Inn itself or the area. I simply went by reviews and their website. I'm a pretty critical person when it comes to hotels but the Abbey far exceeded my expectations. I was nervous I wouldn't be able to find it since we were arriving so late, but the location was perfection and the directions were spot on. To my surprise, the Inn still had a staffer at the front desk and she was more than hospitable. She was eager to help us get settled in and purposed to see we had a pleasant stay. The room was beautiful. It's rare a room is exactly as displayed on the website but sure enough, this one was. We loved it. It was romantic, classy, and clean. Privacy was important to us, and we were bothered by noise or person all our entire stay. We have already looked for available openings in our schedule to allow us to visit again. I think the Abbey may become our weekend getaway 'spot.' I would highly recommend the Inn to any couple looking to get away to relax and rekindle.

This is our favorite place to stay! We were first upset that our favorite room was taken. When we got there we were very happy with our new room. Very clean. Love the changes that have been made since our last stay. We will definitely return!

This was a great romantic get away. Room were great and hot tub was awesome. We never saw the staff which can be good but bad when u needed something. No internet and no phone makes it hard to find somewhere to eat ....the book in the main loddy with info turned up missing the 2nd day.

A great place to reconnect with the one you love and reconnect with the love within you. The individual hot tub in the room was great. The cleanliness and decor of the room was comforting.

The stay was wonderfully relaxing and everything we hoped for. We will return.
