My husband and I wanted a couple of quiet romantic days together and we got just that! We will stay at the Abbey Inn again!

My husband and I stayed at the Abbey Inn for our first time and I must say it was worth the money we spent. He had rose and fresh flowers put in the room and they were beautiful. The room was very clean and the lady that check us in was very nice. Thank you Abbey Inn for the wonderful stay we will be back.

My fiancee and I had a wonderful and relaxing weekend. The room was large, airy, comfortable, and clean. We will definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away for a cozy weekend.

I really enjoyed my stay at Abbey Inn. My husband and I took the weekend to get away from home and the tasks of life. Abbey Inn's rooms are large, and seem to be newly refurbished. While the stay was nice, there were a few essentials that the room lacked. There was nowhere to set our suitcases or personal belongings. A table or some sort of dresser would have been nice. The bathroom also laced surface space to set down personal toiletries. Other than that, the bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of pillows to make lounging on the bed quite nice.

The Abbey Inn provided a nice get away for us. We were pleased with every aspect of the room, plus the peace and quiet were added bonuses.

We purchased the buy one get one night free, which is a good deal with a hot tub room. Only complaint.. the room was very cold. We stayed in January and there was literally no heat coming out of the vents. We uncovered the hot tub, turned on the electric fireplace and to no avail, we were freezing in the night. There are no individual thermostats.

I only stayed for one night but I really enjoyed myself. I spent the day walking around the small town of Nashville, In then I came back and relaxed in the hottub. It was a wonderful way to end my day. Thanks Abbey Inn.

We had a great stay at your place. The only thing that could be improved upon, in my opinion would be a folding door between the rooms. The temperature was almost unpleasant in our room after turning the hot tub up. Maybe having the ability to open a window would be an easy fix? Besides that, everything was very nice, we never really seen or heard another person the whole time. Very relaxing getaway!

Stayed in the sweetheart cabin for our Anniversary which is on New Years Eve. Had 2 other couples stay with us. Cabin is very nice and clean. Perfect for a larger gathering. Nice kitchen and living room area. Hot tub was nice, only complaint was for a cabin with 3 rooms a little larger hot tub is needed. Privacy fence around hot tub area was nice. Overall a very pleasent experience. Will definitely stay with the Abbey Inn again.

The room itself was great and atmosphere was very nice. The only problem was the bed mattress, time to replace it, flipping it won't help! Also the hot tub was very small, underfilled and smelled stale...no chemical smell.

My only complaint would be the front door and bathroom door for room #1. Both were very difficult to open and close. It was obvious shaving had been done, but the doors could use a little more work. Other than that, we will definitely be making it an annual tradition. We loved it!

We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary here at the Abbey Inn. Room was comfortable & nice. I would like to try one of the other rooms if we come again. Some of our first choices were already booked. We did a private vow renewal ceremony in the darling chapel at the Inn. The ceremony was sweet, but My husband and I would have likes to talks to the officiant more prior to the ceremony. We would have liked to have done the traditional, Christian vows. But, what we were actually doing in renewing our vows was the important thing even though the vows the officiant gave us were general for any belief system. We have fin memories of our stay and vow renewal at the Inn.

We went to Brown County the day after Christmas to get away for a few days. We were looking for a quiet, luxurious retreat. The room was exactly as it was photographed, and I was very pleased with the amoun of space and the cleanliness. The decor is soothing also. I enjoyed the hottub, and was glad we had a suite, so there was a door leading to a private room where we enjoyed the hottub. The hottub was noisy, and we could not turn it off, so I was glad for the sound barrier. The front desk person was not very friendly or helpful; I was disappointed that the questions I emailed before I came were unanswered. We bought a bed and breakfast package, but I did not know we had to drive into town for it. I much prefer having lodging that I can bring the food to my room and relax in the morning. The food at the restaurant was OK; nothing impressive, but the service there was excellent. The bathroom was a little small, and I would have liked a hair cap--standard in most hotel rooms. We were also very disappointed that the DVD player did not work. I would have appreciated a call or email after our visit apologizing for this inconvenience. Overall, since we paid 50% for the room, it was OK. I think next time I'll just bring breakfast from home so we can sleep in.

My husband and I stayed at Abbey for his birthday. They upgraded us to a suite for free because our hot tub was broke. The staff was very friendly. I would def stay here again.

First trip to Brown County for a weekend get away for some stress relief from work. Pleasantly surprised at just how clean the room was. Very quiet and a perfect spot to relax.

This was our honeymoon; we stayed 5 nights, and the staff was thoughtful and attentive. I thought the mattress was somewhat worn, and they flipped it which seemed to work. Heat was too low, and they raised it. Very clean, bathrooms look recently updated. Good lcd TV and good dvd selection. Nice out of town setting, about 2 miles out of Nashville. Spa was nice to have. Very relaxing stay!

Staff was very frindly and helped with whatever questions or needs arised.

We came back to the Abbey Inn for our 2nd anniversary. It's a wonderful place to stay if you're looking for peace, quiet, tranquility, and to renew that spark in your relationship. The rooms are spacious and offer a hot tub. And they also have small kitchenettes, with mini frdige, microwave, sink, and some plates/utensils. I couldn't the dining category because there is no dining option available. Carryout back to the room is what it's all about!!!!!!!

The room was fabulous ! Very clean , cute and charming. Made you feel at home . I would recommend the Abby Inn to everyone. It was better than staying in a hotel room. My one and only complaint was that the jacuzzi water was not hot, it was luke warm. The room I stayed in had the jacuzzi in the bathroom which was great. A suggestion would be to put a wall mount tv in the bathroom, so while you are relaxing you have the tv. Overall I would definitely stay there again

I was very pleased with everything at The Abbey Inn. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were even nicer than they appear online. I would definatley recommend this facility. We had the Wedding performed in the chapel with just The Bride and Groom and Minister and it was perfect!

Everything was wonderful. No onsite dining, but there was a book available with close by resturants and some menus. It was a lovely stay. We will stay again, soon.

We stayed for 3 nights at the sweethearts cabin. The cabin was right off the highway , real easy to find. It was clean and cozy. We got to the cabin late so we didn't get to experience the customer service. The inn itself was clean and the atmosphere was welcoming and quite. I would definitely come back again. The only flaw was I wish that the hot tub was in the back yard and not on the front porch. Otherwise it was really nice.

There were 6 adults staying in the cabin. We were wishing the table had been bigger for meals and that there had been a few more dishes available for us to use.

The Abbey Inn was a very nice place to stay and very clean but a bit pricey

I stayed at the Abbey Inn for my honeymoon. Their second night free special made the stay worth it. However, if they did not have that special I wouldn't say the room was worth the price. I did have a lovely time. The place is adorable and cozy and romantic. The regular sized rooms do have a hot tub in them and it's wonderful! However there is no microwave which I feel is something most rooms anywhere should have, especially since there aren't a ton of food options in the area. Our second two nights we stayed in one of the suites. It was so much larger. Instead of having the bed and loveseat in one tiny area and the hottub and coffee maker in another, the suite had a separate space for the bed & hottub area, couch & tv & fireplace, and finally a kitchenette area. There was a microwave in the suite but that was the only added convenience the suite came with except for the space. The room was larger but way more expensive just for a microwave which is a bummer.

Staff member was responsive to needs and instructions were clear and understandable. This is our second stay at the Abbey and the weeknight specials make it affordable. We enjoyed the ammeneties and private country setting.

We stayed last week. Room was very nice and clean. Only issue is you have to be able to handle the hot tub running all night. I was ok with it, but my wife was not. The bed was comfortable and the setting was very nice.

We stayed for our ten year anniversary and it was a wonderful experience!

Loved the Abbey Inn and the town of Little Nashville. We took advantage of the weekly deal they offer. The service was awesome! One small problem in our room and we were instantly upgraded to a larger room - The Iris Suite. Beautiful views of the park. I was hoping that we could walk to town from the Inn.....but it was only a very short drive to town. Only complaint...wish we could have stayed longer. Loved it all!

We enjoyed the time we spent at Abbey Inn. The room was clean and was serviced in a timely manner. We absolutely loved the hot tub. The only thing we were rather disappointed in was that the fountain and grounds didn't seem to be very well kept but overall it was a very nice experience.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Abbey Inn. This place definately knows how to to it. It was so quiet and lovely! It took no time at all to be completely relaxed, which was just what my wife and i needed for our 5th anniversary Thankyou so much Abbey Inn and next time we will definately do the massages also.

The Sweetheart cabin was quaint, just what one would expect esthetically. However, the bed was a nightmare; it should have been replaced several years ago. The sides of the bed rolled into the middle, so there was no problem finding your partner! There was no firewood for the nice fire pit outside, doggone, I forgot to pack my axe! The sewage smell emitting from the bathroom was horrible, but it didn’t seem to bother the insects and spiders, which pretty much had the run of the place. The Hot tub was nice, although, the way the rest of the place was kept, we sort of wondered when the last time it was cleaned, so kind of creepy in that respect, but it functioned properly and was nice at day’s end. If only they provided nice big fluffy towels and some robes, it would have been perfect, or at least tell us ahead of time they do not provide those types of special amenities so we would have known to bring our own. In summary, I suppose if you approach it with real low expectations, you might say it was worth the money, although I think the smell would still ruin it for you. The sad thing is, many people before us had logged in the journal which they provided, some of the very things same unacceptable issues we noted and obviously, they either don’t read them, or they don’t care. And, I suppose, why should they care when they already have your money. Too bad, it has potential to be a really nice place.

We went to Abbey Inn for our honeymoon. It was awesome! The hottub was so relaxing, the bed was comfortable, the quietness was a nice welcome and the privacy was the best. They furnished DVDs if you wanted, the service was outstanding and very friendly and courteous. We plan to come back each year for our anniversary and we are recommending Abbey Inn to all our family and friends. It is the perfect get-away for romance, privacy and to relax. No matter how young or old you are, it will make you fall in love all over again with your mate. We think the room we had was the best. In fact, I am ready to come back right now. I think you did everything right!!! You made us feel like it was just us there. Keep up the good work and we will see you next year and the next and so on. Most wonderful place and during the fall is the best time to be there. I am so glad you are close to us and hopefully we can get a weekend over before our anniversary.

Me and my husband stayed at the Abbey Inn for a romantic getaway. This was our first time staying at the Abbey Inn, and we were more than pleased!! The room looked right on with their website. The colors of choice were so perfect. It was very spacious, and cozy as well. We also had a balcony that looked out to a wooded area which was very nice. I honestly have NO complaints about our stay here. We LOVED it. I will go back again. If you want relaxation, and quiet, and romantic time with your loved one I would def choose Abbey Inn!! Also we were very late for check in, and I just knew we were not going to be able to get our room, they were so sweet they had our key hanging up for us when we got there. This is the best place I personally have every stayed, I didn't want to leave. The hot tub in the room was also wonderful! But vacation must come to an end LOL.

We had a very small wedding service at the gazebo. It was beautiful and very personal.

My fiance and I made the choice to celebrate our wedding night at the Abbey a few months back with very little knowledge of the Inn itself or the area. I simply went by reviews and their website. I'm a pretty critical person when it comes to hotels but the Abbey far exceeded my expectations. I was nervous I wouldn't be able to find it since we were arriving so late, but the location was perfection and the directions were spot on. To my surprise, the Inn still had a staffer at the front desk and she was more than hospitable. She was eager to help us get settled in and purposed to see we had a pleasant stay. The room was beautiful. It's rare a room is exactly as displayed on the website but sure enough, this one was. We loved it. It was romantic, classy, and clean. Privacy was important to us, and we were bothered by noise or person all our entire stay. We have already looked for available openings in our schedule to allow us to visit again. I think the Abbey may become our weekend getaway 'spot.' I would highly recommend the Inn to any couple looking to get away to relax and rekindle.

This is our favorite place to stay! We were first upset that our favorite room was taken. When we got there we were very happy with our new room. Very clean. Love the changes that have been made since our last stay. We will definitely return!

This was a great romantic get away. Room were great and hot tub was awesome. We never saw the staff which can be good but bad when u needed something. No internet and no phone makes it hard to find somewhere to eat ....the book in the main loddy with info turned up missing the 2nd day.

A great place to reconnect with the one you love and reconnect with the love within you. The individual hot tub in the room was great. The cleanliness and decor of the room was comforting.

My wife and I stayed here two nights to celebrate our 42nd anniversary. It was a quiet, romantic place and we truly enjoyed our entire stay. We will return!

A welcoming place to set as a destination. Small, intimate and lovely. I liked the simple, clean lines of the decor and the line dancing at Mike's barn was a fun time and a good workout. My only suggestion would be a table top next to the sink to place toiletries upon. Highly recommend it to anyone.

By registering online, we received the rent one night get one free deal. It was amazing. By reading the website we were completely prepared for the lack of staffing and certain amenities (Like maid service and room service) and were actually looking forward to the quiet. It was a wonderful and relaxing weekend and we plan to go back. Highly recommended for any adults seeking quiet time away from responsibilities and kids.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful two day getaway in the Peony Suite. The accommodations were very clean, comfortable and peaceful. The hot tub in the room was fabulous and we made the most of it. The patio was a great place for our afternoon cocktail. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. The Inn is a short drive to the Nashville shops and eateries. Biscuits and apple butter and fried chicken at the Nashville House are a must do. We have only good thoughts of our stay and look forward to the chance to return.

This is a beautiful place to stay. The rooms are very clean and organized. It's conveniently located to downtown Nashville yet far enough away to be secluded and private. The smaller restaurants were a nice change from all the chain restaurants in our town. I would recommend this place for anyone looking to get to know and enjoy someone or to simply rekindle the sparks that brought you together.

My new hubby and I stayed here for 2 nights for a short honeymoon. Upon our arrival we were informed that the room we reserved had air conditioning problems and we were upgraded to a suite. We were both hesitant about the change (since we'd chosen the room specifically) but the suite was AMAZING! It was so nice and comfortable. The bed was great as was the hot tub! We also got an amazing value as we booked a "room" with the second night free and got this "suite" deal instead! There was a journal in our room too where couples could write about their stay which was really sweet. The breakfast buffet at the Artist's Colony add on was delicious too. Love my hubby, loved our stay, and would love to return one day!

My husband & I have been running ragged for a few months taking care of my mother who has gone into a nursing home, and his father who is 91 yrs old, and needing a lot of one on one care. We still both work jobs also. We were able to arrange a weekend away, depending on our children to step in for us. Our visit to Abbey Inn went way beyond our hopes. As we walked in, the fireplace was on, the room was lovely and inviting. The hottub was bubbling and waiting for us. I have been to places before that smelled funny, or had shoddy accomodations. NOT SO WITH ABBEY INN. Every aspect of the room and service were topnotch. We chose that area, as we had been in college at I.U. in the 70's and often hitchhiked down to the area on the weekends. Things have changed, but our memories blossomed and we had a beautiful time together. If you are seeking a simply beauty and taste without the crazy crowds & shared space. This is it. Just last week, we spent our 1st anniversary at Abbey Inn. This was actually our 3rd stay. During our second stay, my fiance' proposed to me just on the other side of the pond waterfall. It couldn't have been more romantic. We will come back every year!

We everything about the inn. It was just what we were looking for. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We loved that that they offered the couples massages. The girls did a wonderful job. We would recommend Abbey's Inn to our friends. We are planning on returning sometime in the future. Awesome Place!

The Abbey Inn is in a nice location and has a very relaxing environment. It is private and quiet. Dining really isn't an issue since they don't have a restaurant but do have some breakfast packages with a few local cafes. Overall a nice value.

We LOVED our stay at the Abbey Inn! Hot tubs in the room are a wonderful idea! My husband and I have a goal of visiting all of the United States and I told him I'm tempted to just want to go back to the Abbey Inn instead! Hopefully we can find places similar in other states but we would definitely go back for a visit! The rooms are fresh, clean, decorated modernly, relaxing, and very comfortable. I felt very much at home. We stayed in the Lilac Room and the Honeysuckle room. Both were absolutely BEAUTIFUL! We went during the week to take advantage of the buy one night get one night free. The Customer Service was wonderful! Our first room, the Lilac Room, the hot tub did start making an annoying clicking noise and my husband knew it would disturb his sleep. Since they had other rooms available (another perk for going during the week) she offered us a different room. We were tempted to stay in the Lilac room b/c I LOVED the decor, and you could see the TV from the hot tub (we watched a movie from the hot tub, so so fun!). But once we heard how quiet the other hot tub was the decision was pretty obvious. And the room was a major upgrade at no cost. But don't be discouraged from the smaller room, we really were sad to leave that one. The lady at the front desk was so gracious about it and completely understood. The grounds at Abbey Inn are absolutely beautiful as well. We didn't venture out too much in our two day stay but who needs to leave when you have such a nice room! We were celebrating our four year wedding anniversary and it was our first trip we've taken just the two of us since our honeymoon - Abbey Inn did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend you visit! Thanks Abbey Inn for a romantic and relaxing trip!

It was our 45th Anniversary! The staff were very friendly and met all our needs. The room was very clean and spacious. The setting was romantic and relaxing. The grounds were well maintained. The courtyard made a very romantic transition from the outside world to our room.

Our recent stay (August 2011) in the Sweetheart Cabin was one of the most relaxing vacations we've taken in a while. We were able to check in late, check out early, and were never bothered by anyone. We only met a staff member upon check-in, but they checked us in quickly and were very nice. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The only complaint we had was that we found the checkout policy/procedures to be a little excessive for the amount of money we paid per night (i.e., must strip sheets off bed, sweep floors, etc.). Overall it is a nice place to get away from everything and enjoy the surrounding state parks.

Brekfast was very good and very fair priced. The flowers I ordered were nice.

We celebrated the 30th anniversary of our 1st date and we were so relaxed when we left we couldn't believe it. I used to travel for a living and we now travel many times a year and this was without a doubt the cleanest resort that we have ever visited. The location is beautiful and serene. Thank you so much.

While somehwat cynical about the whole weekend getaway idea, we really enjoyed our stay at the Abby Inn, and we found the “Forget-Me-Not” room was an ideal choice for us. It was very roomy and well kept. What we found to be the best part was the seclusion made for a nice quiet weekend, and we definitely needed more romantic time from the daily hustle and bustle. While a bit concerned with the heat index, the air conditioned shops in Nashville made the day comfortable. We really enjoyed the friendliness of the shop owners, because they sat down with us and shared their knowledge of the area. We got some great tips on restaurants that we took advantage of. We also picked up some items to remind us of our visit. This was a great change from WalMart. The friendly atmosphere of Nashville seemed to make all of the visitors pleasant, and we found ourselves chatting with others after we saw them in several shops. The fact that we will be back, should tell others who read this that they will make a great selection for their getaway.

We had a great weekend while we were there. We had a lot of privacy and it was very quiet. However our DVD player wouldn't work (which wasn't a huge deal since I had my laptop with me) and when we flushed the toilet it was a very loud moaning noise that lasted a few minutes. Agagin, not a huge deal but if you have to go in the middle of the night you may not want to wake up your partner... Other than those two things, the room was really nice and pretty, the hot tub was nice and clean. We really enjoyed our time there!

My husband and I had our honeymoon at the Abby Inn. The rooms were very nice i loved it and can't wait to go back. I loved how quiet and relaxing the whole atmosphere was. The service was great. the books say that they wont "make up" your room each morning but our cleaning girls did make our bed and mop up any water on floor. The value!!!! cant pass up stay one night get the second free and have a hot tub!! awesome!! it kind of stinks that you have to leave hotel for breakfast but the artist colony breakfast buffet 2 people for $6 cant beat that and it was good food. it also gives you a little reason to go visit town. the only down side that we found during our stay was that there isnt a microwave anywhere for the guests to use. we brought popcorn to watch with the movies provided and we couldnt eat it. over all it is a great stay and I can't wait to return.

It was a great get away from our everyday life. Peaceful relaxing and very very enjoyable. The town and the people are so welcoming and easy to enjoy. I hope we can afford to return at least yearly if not more, we picked this radomly to get away for a few days and we hit the jackpot !

Staying midweek allows one to get two nights for the price of one--good value for this level of room. There isn't someone at the front desk very often, so anyone with lots of questions and need of service will be disappointed. We also had a DVD player that didn't work (we were offered a change of room but had already been settled for one night and didn't want to change). Good access is available to Bloomington as well (about 20 minutes) where there is much more to see and do on a hot day than hanging out in Nashville.

Everything about the stay was outstanding. It was very warm and inviting. It was also very close to all areas of interest.

I had been given a gift certificate by my family. I found the facility outstanding. I would recommend it to my friends.

Very nice, clean comfortable room. DVD player did not work and replacement did not either. No individual temp controls in the rooms, so if you like 72 degrees, you'll be fine. Skip the breakfast offer and eat at the Artist's Colony (better food and value). Very private.

The facilty and our room was very nice with great amenities. The proximity to Brown County State Park and Nashville shopping district was very convenient. The facility is very quaint and clean, lovely place to visit as a couple looking for a short-term trip in the area or a night away from home. We married at the Inn and enjoyed our very small private ceremony.

We stayed in the Sweetheart Cabin for our honeymoon and got married in the chapel across the street. It was perfect. Simply but beautiful.

This was a great place to stay for newly weds to couples who just need together time. The hot tub in the room is great. The Inn was private. My husband and I decided to take a few days to celebrate our 5 year anniversary by going out of town, and we decided that Brown County was far enough away to be "on vacation" yet close enough to be able to drive. Our stay at the Abbey Inn was incredible. The room was gorgeous - we even took note of the wall color and decor and plan on re-creating the look in our own master bedroom at home. The Jacuzzi tub was really relaxing and the movie selection was good. There were several that we hadn't seen before and we were actually able to agree on a few to watch :) We hardly saw anyone the three days/two nights that we were there - and apparently there was a wedding onsite. It was very peaceful...we had our own private balcony that looked out over the woods, and overall the stay was great. One concern we did have: the refrigerator didn't stay cold which we mentioned to the staff upon checkout. It didn't really affect our stay at all, although it would have been nice to be able to bring leftovers back to the Inn after dinner. All in all though, it was a great stay, and we will definitely be going back!

Chose to stay here after staying before. Enjoy the comfort, cleanliness, and privacy of the room. We really like the location. It is nice to go out in the evening and walk around the grounds for a short walk for some outside time together. We will most likely be staying again.

The room was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was very nice. We enjoyed the quiet privacy. Some small issues were the outlets in the bathroom that didn't work and the "pilly" sheets on the bed. Overall, it was nice and we'd visit again.

This was our third stay at the Abbey Inn and our first in the Wisteria Room. The room was clean, but small. Bathroom comode door opened straight into hot tub. Room was smaller than expected. Hope to come back and stay in a larger room next time. This room was not worth $200 for a night.

Me and my boyfriend wanted a place to go that wasn't to far but far enough to make it fun. We Picked the Abby Inn and loved it. It was so nice and peaceful. Very clean and just the perfect place to get away. Love it!!

We needed a quiet place to get away and found that the Abbey Inn was just the right spot! The hot tub was relaxing and the room was wonderful. It was quiet and romantic, and gave us a wonderful memory of celebrating our anniversary together. We look forward to going back soon!

My new husband i spent our honeymoon at Abbey Inn. Our experiance was awsome, the suite we stayed in was beautiful. The privacy the Inn provides, helps you relax and enjoy your stay.

It was an absolutely beautiful weekend when we stayed. We had a little rain but nothing compared to what we had had the past couple of weeks. Even though it was off of hwy 46, the cabin was very peaceful as were the surroundings. We were amazed at nice everything was inside and plenty of towels were supplied. Sitting outside in the hot tub on the cool evenings was great as well. Thanks so much for such a wonderful place, we will be back again!

We stayed in this suite for our 10th Anniversary and it was just what we needed! We loved everything about this suite, especially that it was just so relaxing. The hot tub was our favorite part about our stay....so relaxing and tranquil (the view out of the windows was great during the day). We definitely want to come back and stay for another anniversary in the future! There were only two things that could have been better but wouldn't keep me from coming back again: 1. There could be more space around the sink area in the bathroom to lay out your toiletries/curling iron/hair dryer 2. It would be nice if they had a connection to a nice restaurant that would deliver meals sort of like "room service". Overall, this was such a great get-away for me and my husband! We had the best Anniversary ever!!

Abbey Inn was so peaceful and the staff was very friendly. We had everything we needed in the room upon arrival.

Abbey Inn was absolutely wonderful. It was everything we were hoping and so much more. It was so peaceful and private. I think the only time we saw other people was when we checked out. It was nice because we felt like we were far away and we felt at home. We didn't feel like we feel when we are in a hotel or any other kind of place. This was an amazing experience and we will be back soon.

My husband and I went for a relaxing little get away. It was exactly what we were looking for. The room was extremely nice. Updated and CLEAN. The 2 days that we spent there was very quite and peaceful. Just an all around wonderful time. We didn't even see anyone while we there. Almost like being a little secluded. The staff was wonderful. I would definetly recommend this for anyone looking for a relaxing time, anniversary or honeymoon.

loved loved the abbey inn!!! only problem was you had to travel down into town for food.the vending machines were terrible and had nothing in them...

We were so surprised when we opened the door to the room...it was beautiful! Everything in the room was gorgeous...the bed,the fireplace,the flowers and of course the hot tub! The room was so calming and relaxing! We had a great weekend and will definately be back! The outdoor setting was also beautiful!

This is our 2nd trip to the Inn. My husband and I do enjoy it. We stayed in the Dogwood room both times. The room has a nice king size bed and a full size hot tub. It has a small flat screen with DVD player and an dorm size refrigerator. The private balcony is small, but has a nice view of the woods and pond. Don't forget your fishing poles during your stay. We caught several bass a day in the pond. My husband likes to fish so, I would bring my chair to the pond with a good book (I fished a little too.). Only complaint is there is terrible communication prior to booking the Inn. I called and email with questions and never got a return call or email back. Once we checked Inn the staff is very polite and attentive.

I recomend this place for a couple who needs time together and be out of routine

I surprised my husband with a night away for our anniversary. The only way it could have been more perfect is if we wouldn't have had to leave for supper. The rooms are super clean and spacious. The hot tub was amazing. Very greatful we only live 45 miles away. We will be coming back again!!

Our stay was great. The place is beautiful, relaxing and peaceful. It's adult only lodging which was excellent. We had an issue with our shower and were moved for our second night. It was cool because we got to see two rooms but I preferred our first room to the second. Stay here and you won't be disappointed.

My husband And I needed a quiet and relaxing get-a-way. The Abbey Inn provided that for us. We stayed in the Ivy Solarium Suite. It was clean and tastefully decorated. We loved the private hot tub! I liked the fact the hot tub in this particular suite is in a separate room. The kitchenette was a nice plus. We utilized the Abbey Inn's breakfast buffet package - this was located at a separate location in Nashville (only minutes away). The selection and taste of the food was good. The staff at both the Abbey Inn and the Artist's Colony were friendly and helpful. We felt this deal was a good value. Overall we are very pleased with our experience. We have recommended the Abbey Inn to our family and friends. We will return!

My husband and I were looking for the perfect place to get away from it all and we found it at Abbey Inn. Our 3 nights in the Honeysukle Suite was perfect. We loved the whole experience!!! The room was all we had hoped for...especially the hot tub!!! My husband would have packed it up and brought it home with us if he could have. The only problem we encountered was a toliet that either ran all the time or the tank would not fill if you didn't remeber to jiggle the handle. This was only a very minor inconvience to us and we made sure to let the staff know for future guest. We will most definitely be going back to Abbey Inn and hopefully will have the oppurtunity to stay in the Honeysuckle Suite again!!!

We stayed in the Iris suite for our belated Valentine's gateway. We could't have asked for a better experience. Our room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, the hot tub was great, etc. We loved it and most DEFINITELY will be visiting again.

The Abbey Inn is a lovely, private retreat. We probably saw only two other guests during our stay! If you happen to arrive late like we did, just pick up your room info on a board in the lobby. That's a little different, but it worked out ok. Very clean rooms with a comfortable bed and nice hot tub. The maid does not make up the room with new towels, empty trash, etc. unless you request it specifically. Something to consider beforehand if you go. The reason I put unsatisfactory for "dining" is because there is no dining on the premises. This should really be termed as "not applicable." Otherwise, everything was great!

We had a great room! We would recommend this to anyone and everyone! I think we are going to go back in a couple months!

The room was great. The stay was everything we expected, what a great place for a weekend getaway. The only thing that we did notice was that the hot tub seemed like it wasnt quite as clean as it could have been. There were dried water spots all over the outside of the tub as if it wasnt cleaned off after the last stay and we noticed that the water had a hint of a smell. Hot tubs are one thing that you want to KNOW are clean when you go somewhere and we weren't completely comfortable that it was as clean as it should have been.

I surprised my wife with a night at the Abbey-Inn and already we can't wait to plan our trip to return. It was only an hour and a half away from our house but we felt so removed from our everyday stress with jobs and life. We only saw one person (the lady that checked us in) the entire stay which made us feel completely secluded and able to enjoy a romantic evening. I would recommend trying the Abbey-Inn for sure. The hot tub in the room is an added bonus as well!

We return to the Abbey Inn every February for a post-Valentine's Day getaway. It's a quiet, out of the way kind of place and has a somewhat isolated feel - even more so during the off-season. The rooms are nice and spacious, with lots of amenities including a hot tub in many of them. Beds are large and comfortable though the pillows could be softer. Everything is always spotlessly clean. Decor is very nice and tasteful following a redecoration some years ago (not that it wasn't before!). The Inn itself doesn't serve meals but with easy access to nearby Nashville and places like The Daily Grind and The Artist's Colony, that's not a problem. Overall we love staying here and plan to do so again.

We had a great night. It was the best night that I have ever had!!! It was the best anniversary.I hope I could do it again in the near Future. Thank you for the best night ever!!!

We were able to get away from it all and relax in the Ivy Suite. Really like the decor in this suite. Suprised by the rose petals and hershey kisses on the bed when we arrived.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Abby Inn in brown county, IN. We had the Peony Room suite. The only issue was not having local nice dining places to go to thats close. We had to drive to Bloomington for that. Other than that we loved every bit of it. Thanks- Michelle and Ryan (Indianapolis)

This was my first time at Abbey Inn and I was very pleased! We actually booked our wedding for the gazebo this fall and staying our first night as husband and wife at the Abbey Inn.

We just returned from our second anniversary trip and it couldn't have gone any better. We didn't see any other guests and it was extremely quiet. I can't wait for next year to stay in a different room. Our first year we stayed in the Peony and this year we were in the Magnolia. I liked the way the Magnolia was set up a little better, but both rooms were wonderful!

This was our weekend getaway and i was impressed with our room...the hot tub was ready for us when we arrived and not once did we get disturbed when we had our "do not disturb" sign up...I will be coming back again as this was the perfect weekend for me and my fiance to re-connect. Just 2-3 minutes from downtown Nashville. We were informed that we may be greeted by ladybugs and we were, but they stayed in the hottub room which was a different room then ours and they fully informed us that this may occur so that was really nice of them. Overall i love this place and will keeping going back for years to come!

This was our first get a way together and it was perfect. We had a wonderful time and plan to come back many many more times in the future. This is the only place to stay! It was wonderful!!!

It was a great evening, the perfect little get away. Very peaceful and romantic! We live in a very fast paced world these days and it was nice to relax. The fact there was no phones, even helped us to shut cell phones off and enjoy our time together, which lets face it.. doesnt happen very often for anyone anymore!! Abbey-Inn gets 5 stars from us and will become a tradition!

Our stay was very pleasant, quiet and private. We were close to everything and enjoyed the winter surroundings.

Very accessible, gives you the feeling of personalized services. The staff members are kind and helpful. The only con is have and which should be considered in the managements long term plans is to seek to expand the shower-room... my personal opinion is, the one in my room almost made me feel claustrophobia (it was a suite). All in all i would recommend Abbey Inn to my friends and i look forward to another cosy weekend.... Keep up the good work.

I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend a day or two away.. it is at a perfect location, close to Brown county state park and Nashville.. We were there for a weekend but had a very relaxing and refreshing time... the staff here is excellent and very co-operative. In all, great experience!!

Abbey Inn is a steal. Buy one night, get a second free? Unbelievable value. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to get away for a night or two. The Abbey Inn provides great service but ensures that you have the privacy you'll want.

We stayed at the Abbey Inn on our wedding night. The grounds weren't that nice, but we loved everything about the room! It was quiet and clean. The bed was super comfy. Will be back again!

The room was clean as expected. The hot tub was okay, but had a strange order. For the most part, the staff was friendly enough, and they had a selection of DVDs to watch free. However, a big draw back was the refrigerator in the room. The appliance was plugged and seemed to work. After waking the next day and checking the food, I discovered the appliance was not keeping the food cold. The food had to be discarded. After telling the staff, they did nothing but apologize. I will not return.

My husband and I stayed in the Honeysuckle Suite for a couple of nights and absolutely loved it! The room was just Beautiful and so spacious! The location was perfect!!! We are already trying to plan a trip to return probably this May!

I loved the stay and it is our 3rd at this location. I miss the wood burning fireplace but the electric replacement is OK. The room is colder without the wood burning so turning up the heat would be good.

Great stay before Christmas. My wife and I are seperated right now due to jobs and it was great to have some alone time in a great room. The hot tube was fantastic.

The chapel was quaint which is what we were hoping for. The rooms were large and clean, very comfy bed and hot tub was great. We hope to come back next fall.

The inn exceeded our expectations by far. The whirlpool was excellent and soothing. The rooms were exquisitely decorated and the atmosphere was both peaceful and refreshing. I enjoyed the hottub in our room. The weekend special was great. We stayed on a Sunday night and got Monday free and a free breakfast at the Artist Colony. The folks in town were very friendly. The only distractor of the "tulip room" were the ladybugs that flew around the lights.
