Located in Historic Lockerbie Square adjacent to the James Whitcomb Riley Home. Within walking distance to downtown attractions and The Canal. The Inn offers two beautiful one-bedroom suites with additional queen-sized sleeper sofas in the living rooms, private baths and kitchens and one unit with king size bed, spa tub, private bath/shower, living room with queen size sleeper sofa, microwave, coffee maker and mini frig. All units have color/cable TV, DVD players with DVD library in common area. Some amenities include deluxe continental breakfast, non-smoking, on-site laundry, and sitting area with complementary snacks/beverages.

My wife and I took advantage of Debra Harney's hospitality and location to celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary. We celebrated on Jan 13, 2012. My wife surprised me with a dinner reservation downtown. The Harney House Inn was excellent-location, service, value, cleanliness and great breakfast!!

What a wonderful place to spend a weekend. The B&B is conveniently located to downtown Indianapolis making many of the city's offerings within walking distance. The Innkeeper has done an amazing job on renovating this lovely home. It is very homey; offers many amenities; the rooms are beautifully decorated; comfortable beds; and well a thought out supply of most anything a stay might require. A great stay in all ways!

What a wonderful place to stay. Debbie was great and has done a beautiful restoration on this original boarding house from the late 1800's. To the smallest details the Harney House is beautiful and full of wonderful charm. Sit out on the porch in a swing and relax and wander the historic area - walking distance to the convention center and restaurants and downtown. It is so well decorated and her services have such a personal touch. You won't want to go home, you are happy to curl up and marvel at all the lovely fun things around you. Debbie has thought of everything and has done much of the restoration herself. It was a lovely find and we will be back to enjoy her warm hospitality. Don't look any further for a place to stay in Indianapolis - grab this one fast!

Our stay at the Harney House Inn was excellent. We traveled from the East Coast and Deb Harney was an extremely friendly host. We rented the Garden Room for 3 nights, and the continental breakfast was great. Deb gave us a tour of the other rooms in the house which has some great history. In my opinion all three rooms are a great deal. I would recommend anyone traveling to Indianapolis stay here. You can walk downtown in 5 minutes or less.
