We stayed at the Harney House for three nights in June 2013. We really enjoyed the lovely house which is clean, beautiful and very conveniently located. Deb the host is wonderful. She goes out of her way to make sure her guests feel at home. The daily full-breakfast is very good and there is no amenities she has not thought of. I would recommend this B&B to anyone who wants an enjoyable stay in downtown Indianapolis and also wants a great value.

We stayed at the HH for this years Superbowl. Deb and everyone were very accommodating and made out trip a great one. I highly recommend the HH if your passing through Indy and want a change from the average hotel. Walking distance to everything downtown. Best of luck Deb! Mike R

My wife and I took advantage of Debra Harney's hospitality and location to celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary. We celebrated on Jan 13, 2012. My wife surprised me with a dinner reservation downtown. The Harney House Inn was excellent-location, service, value, cleanliness and great breakfast!!

This was a great stay away from home! The place is located in an older historic district in/near downtown. My event was held at the Convention Center which was only about a 20 minute walk. Deb was superfriendly--called some local sites to see what their hours were, talked lovingly of her family and this house (which has been in the family since the 30s), and was very helpful with accommodating my weird schedule. Place is great with subtle niceties like snacks, book and video library, and more, all of which included in the price. I got the grand tour around the house one day after other guests had checked out and really dug the other rooms--kitchens built in, more space than the pictures show, and plenty comfy. For an older house, it's pretty quiet--couldn't hear other guests' conversations or flushes through the walls. Lastly, don't be wary of "deluxe continental." The breakfast was plenty, varied and fresh--just self-serve. For less than a decent hotel stay, get a bigger space with nice folks next time you're in Indy! -D#

What a wonderful place to spend a weekend. The B&B is conveniently located to downtown Indianapolis making many of the city's offerings within walking distance. The Innkeeper has done an amazing job on renovating this lovely home. It is very homey; offers many amenities; the rooms are beautifully decorated; comfortable beds; and well a thought out supply of most anything a stay might require. A great stay in all ways!
