A traditional Christmas tree with all the trimings for our guests to enjoy.  Located off the the guest living room.First snowfall of the season.
Our family room Christmas tree with a 60 year combined ornament collection.  The Living Room is for all guests to enjoy.  Piano, TV, and fireplace with sitting area.  Grab a quilt from the closet and curl up with a good book from our extensive library or watch TV with one of our many DVD's. Enjoy complimentary homemade cookies and milk when you arrive and anytime during your stay.  The Derby Room is also located just off of this room.
The Derby Room features an elegant queen size canopy bed similar to those found in Louisville, Kentucky.  This room features a private bathroom with a shower.The Savannah Room features a Luxurious Queen Canopy Bed.  Named after Savannah, Georgia where owners have frequented. Very Romantic Room, perfect for a honeymoon, anniversary or just to get away for the weekend.  This room shares two bathrooms (one full and one half) with three other rooms.  Bathrooms feature original tile from 1932.
The Lexington Room features a 4 poster oak queen bed, luxurious bedding and shares two bathrooms (one full and one half bath)with three other rooms.  Bathrooms feature original tile from 1932.The Biltmore Room named after the Biltmore Estate in North Carolina. The massive ornate canopy queen bed and marble top furniture reflects the richness and elegance that the Biltmore is known for.  This room shares two bathrooms (one full and one half) with three other bedrooms.  Bathrooms feature original tile from 1932.
Enjoy a wonderful homemade breakfast of bacon, sausage, eggs, gravy, fried apples or fruit in season, including made from scratch southern biscuits with apple butter and jam.  Homemade pastry for the sweet tooth.  Coffee, a variety of tea, orange juice, apple or other fruit juice, milk and bottled water available for our guests. Continental breakfast also available.  All this is included with your stay at no additional charge. Enjoy breakfast in our formal dining room.The Bluegrass Room features a touch of country elegance with a solid pine sleigh bed and sweater chest.  Handmade quilts are encased in the chest as well as handmade  Appalachian crafts that were made by  Kentucky artists.  This room shares two bathrooms (one full and one half) with three other rooms.  Bathrooms feature original tile from 1932.
Southern Green Gables Billiard Room/Library.  Fantastic view of the property.  Enjoy a game of pool or relax a read a book from our extensive collection which includes antique and current selections.Just a glimpse of the side of our home between the trees during the first snow.
