    Diane has been involved in the Lodging industry here in Brown County for over 20 years. Working at the Story Inn and the Artist Colony Inn as well as the Abe Martin Lodge in the Brown County State Park. Diane and Doug decided to share their love of the Hoosier National Forest and their beautiful property to discriminating visitors to Brown County.

    Rose Room

    The Rose room is a suite with a king bed and full bath in the bedroom and the sitting room has a whirlpool, gas fireplace, twin sofa sleeper and private balcony.

Multiple windows , there is a lovely forest view from the windows and balcony. 

This room is away from all other rooms so you have an even more secluded setting located in a Lodge with a park like setting surrounded by forest.

    Wisteria

    The Wisteria is twice the size of the regular rooms and has 2 queen beds and a private balcony overlooking the forest and gardens and pasure. There is a partitian in the room that gives each bed some privacy. Multiple windows and located on the second level with beautiful views make this room a real favorite for girlfriends , Mother and Daughters, Sisters and parents with older children. *O/R

    This is the main dining room where the Lodge serves a buffet breakfast each morning. Couples eat at their own table but friends or families can share a larger table . Great food and great conversation makes this a popular room

    Reservation Policy

    • Check In: 3pm or later    Check Out: 11am

    • Minimum Stay: There is a 2 night weekend minimun only in the month of October

    • Deposit Amount Required: First night paid as a deposit to hold the room

    • Cancellations: A fourteen (14) day notice is required in the event of shortening, changing or canceling a reservation. The deposit will be forfeited with less notice. Guests that cancel within less than 7 days of their arrival date are responsible for the full cost of their reservation. A 15% cancelation fee ( not to exceed $25.00) will be deducted from any deposit refund. October reservations require 30 day notice to cancel.

When you reach Brown County Indiana take State Road 46 to State Road 135 SOUTH . Drive 10 miles to the stop sign at Story Village. Turn left at the stop sign and continue on State Road 135 south to the first road on the right , Mount Nebo Road. Turn right onto Mount Nebo Road and drive till you see our sign on the left. Come up the drive to the Lodge

      Take 465 south to 65 south to exit. Take State Rd 46 west, 12 miles to St. Rd 135 south. Turn left onto 135 south and drive 10 miles to stop sign at Story Village. Turn left at the stop sign and continue to the first road on the right, Mount Nebo Rd. Turn right onto Mount Nebo Rd and drive till you see our sign on the left. Come up the drive to the Lodge.
