One of the better B&B we have been to. Felt right at home here. Inside and outside was breath taking to look at. Great breakfast and wonder stay.

For fans of architect George Barber (or over-the-top Victorian style more generally), this place is ecstasy-inducing. Diane and her family and contractor have done a splendid job of restoring this grand old place; the interior is elegantly and period-appropriately finished, and the exterior millwork is mind-boggling. Then there's the food: Diane is an outstanding chef. The second night of our stay she served us a very fine dinner, and our breakfasts both days were wonderful. The home is comfortable in every way, and Diane is a gracious and accommodating hostess. She also happily receives children as guests (which many B&B's do not), which is critical for us as we like to travel with our 6-year-old granddaughter. That eliminates for families the potential negative of the shared bathroom; a family can book both guest rooms and have to share the bath only with each other. This is simply a great place. We are eager to return. Dave and Raelynn Vrooman Springfield, OH

The upkeep of this old, historic home was worthy of mention. The rooms were quaint, clean and comfortable. I felt as if I was stepping back in time to a gentler era. The surrounding area was nothing exciting, but if you wish a quiet, stress-buster get away, I highly recommend it. The breakfast cuisine was fabulous, served elegantly, yet unpretentiously. The owner seemed knowledgable about the surrounding areas and offered directions and recommendations about points of interests outside of Campbellsburg. The bed we slept in was quite firm, so if that is not your preferance, I would mention it when you make your reservation. There was chocolate available everywhere!
