3.8 out of 5A very pleasant experience
March 11, 2012
It's places like Patti's Serendipity that make the B&B experience what it is. A personal welcome, a feeling of being in your own home away from home, a personal connection with the host and the surrounding town. Those were the best aspects of my weekend stay in Auburn. I went there to visit as many of the local museums I could get to in a weekend. Patti gave me some good ideas where to go, where to dine, and even where to sing karaoke on Saturday night!. This was so much nicer than staying at the Interchange Inn, I don't understand why more people don't do the B&B experience. The breakfast was outstanding, not the least bit skimped. I really enjoyed my stay. If you've read this far, and you're still considering, I will give you one caution: An older home can be a little drafty. An old guy like me needs to bring a warm pair of socks, but just about anyone else wouldn't even notice. I'll stay here again.

Patti was very welcoming and flexible to my needs. The experience really is like staying in someone's very nice old home, and the breakfast quiche, breads, and fruit were absolutely delicious. Highly recommended to anyone staying in Auburn.
5 out of 5Our Home Away From Home
August 23, 2011
The Serendipity Inn Bed and Breakfast is our home away from home! The picture is of our room ... with full private and porch! The service from the proprietors is excellent from the linens to the last bite of fresh baked bread. We look forward to our visit every Labor Day weekend for the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Club Reunion and any chance opportunity. Auburn has so much to offer from wonderful restaurants, the ACD Automobile Museum, NATMUS, antiques, classic homes, and quaint shops on/around the Square with all the modern trappings to boot!
4.8 out of 5You HAVE to stay here!

My crew and I had to stay in Auburn, IN for work for two weeks and did not want to stay in a hotel. I found the Serendipity Inn Bed and Breakfast and it was the best decision I could have made. Patti was amazing and accommodated our strange work hours and interesting personalities. The restoration of the house was really great and and so comfortable. I would not hesitate to recommend this B&B and hope I get a chance to visit during a non-work trip. Thanks Patti! You're the best!

5 out of 5An AMAZING place to stay!
August 13, 2011
I recently stayed at the Serendipity Inn Bed & Breakfast and it was amazing! Patti is a fantastic host, I was there for about two weeks and she immediately felt welcome and at home. She is well-versed in the history of Auburn, she knows all of the best places around town and in the surrounding areas to eat and shop and she makes delicious food while being accommodating to dietary preferences! The atmosphere of the Serendipity Inn is great and the rooms are very comfortable and well decorated. Another great thing about the Serendipity Inn is that there are bicycles available that you can ride around town or on the bike trail. I would encourage anyone that is planning a trip to Auburn or the surrounding area to stay with Patti at the Serendipity Inn!
