Voted One of the Best Bed & Breakfasts -2003- Readers Poll, enjoy a stay at Alexandria House Bed and Breakfast; a vintage 1865 Victorian home, named after the innkeeper's mother. We are located two blocks from historic Woodstock square.
Our decor is antique/eclectic, featuring treasures collected from over 14 European and Asian countries. We show antiques and collectibles from the USA too. Some guests have said “This is like going on a treasure hunt.”
Private baths, central heat and air-conditioning, cable TV and Wi-Fi and a sprinkler system for your safety. Gathering rooms are available for small groups, bridge parties, afternoon tea, book clubs, brunches, etc.
Spend the afternoon on our covered front porch swing or enjoy lounging in the hammock. Play a game of croquet in the old-fashioned back yard. Let us schedule a massage for you in the privacy of your room. Horse and carriage rides by request. We feature everything for the perfect getaway.

Our signature dish is Stuffed croissant with angel cloud shirred eggs. A delicate roll is stuffed with meat and cheeses, baked, Tomato Provençal garnished with sweet red pepper ring and cheese sticks after fresh fruit cup on fat free Yogurt, or stuffed Poached pears in spirits,varied juices,coffees and/or teas, home baked dessert breads in season. Herbs grown on property for enhanced flavors. No two meals the same after a second or more nights stay. Or try the fantastic strata or quiche or Surprise,Surprise,and Bon Appetit!
Policies - No minimum stay required
- Smoking is allowed outside only (Front or back porches.)
- We cannot accommodate guest pets (Our cat does not enter bedrooms)
- Limitations on children staying (Children 12 or older must occupy own room.)

- Consumption of alcohol is not permitted (Bring your own wines store in our refrigeration upon request)
- Deposit amount required (One night upon reservation)
