THE WILLOWS

The room was very nicely decorated. It had a great atmosphere. I was dissapointed with the service on one occassion. The room we were staying in did not get cleaned one day. We had to go ask for towels and toilet paper as we ran out!

Staff was outstanding!!!!!!! I will definitely stay here again!!!!!!

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Willows. The room was even nicer then the pictures showed. Everyone working there was wonderful! I loved having the breakfast brought to the room. The only downside was they didn't come back for the breakfast dishes or bring new towels and make the bed. They took the dishes the next morning when they brought the breakfast. The first morning we really enjoyed breakfast. The next day it seemed to be pretty much the same thing and we were a little disappointed.

The rooms were awesome we stayed in a jacuzzi suite and would come back again when we need to relax. Loved the rocking chairs on the porch and the small town atmosphere. Really quiet did not hear any other people just what we needed to get away from work and the stresses of your regular day to day life. Plenty of towels and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils needed.

We enjoyed a one night get away at the Willows. Service was frienldy upon arival. We weren't thrilled to see that all the rooms have outside entrances, but we did not have a problem. We stayed in the suit that was complete with a full kitchen and eating area, couch, fireplace, and whirlpool tub for two! It was a great room to relax and talk. We did find however, the rooms needing some basic maintainance. Walls and ceiling needed to be spackled and painted. Some walls seemed dirty. The bathroom light seemed to have some issues with flickering as well. Overall it was a nice stay for for the price.

We came on the day after Christmas and it was a great stay! The staff was friendly and helpful and there was plenty to do even on a Sunday!!! Will definetely recommend to others!!! Erin VonKannon

Stayed 2 nights after Xmas to get away and relax. Went hiking at Starve Rock saw the Eagles, ate dinner at Lodge and hiked. Perfect weather, hit the Jacuzzi after hiking. Hotel is in great location, room was clean and nice owners very friendly. ate dinner at Skogs just down the street after doing a extended wine Tasting at August Hill Winery on the way. We plan on going back every year. Great place to stay in Utica.

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Willows. We felt like we had an apartment with separate kitchen, living room, dining room, and bedroom with a fireplace. The motif was lovely as well. The staff greeted me by name when we arrived. They were very accomodating! Thanks for a wonderful stay. We didn't see a dining area so that part of the survey in not applicable!

My husband and I started going to Willows last year and anytime we need a couple days just to spend a little time together away from the stress of our jobs we take a day or two and relax at the Willows. We enjoy the quiet, laid back accomandations, from making a nice breakfast in the room to sitting on the in the rocking chairs outside our door on the large porch we love this place. All the people both at Willows and in town are friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice, comfortable and quiet. Only item of concern is that some of the rooms might need a little more up keep. Time to fix a few things in the rooms and to sweep the upper porch would have been nice. Nothing major or any reason I wouldn't go back, but would like to see this place around for a long time as it's a perfect get away.

My husband and I have stayed a the the Willow Hotell a hand full of times in the last 2 years. We really like the hot tub, room set-up and the kitchenette. They are stingy with the towels and they need an ice machine. The building is starting to show its age. It is in need of paint & a good overall sweeping on outside porch & walls (spider & cob webs). But overall a good value & close to town.

My husband and myself stayed there for Thankgsiving 2009. The room had had a living room, bedroom, and full small kitchen and dining area. It looked like it had just been remodeled, and the place was the cleanest I have seen. Highly recommend. Very quiet, could walk to Utica town. Just a nice place.

I stayed at The Willows this past weekend and could not be happier. It's a great value and is loctated in the heart of town. We stayed in one of the jacuzzi rooms which also had a fireplace and a kitchen. The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff was helpful and friendly.

My husband and I stayed at The Willows in January. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was ok. The jacuzzi tub and fireplace were not what we were expecting for $140/night. In the off-season, prices should be a lot lower in my opinion.

We booked eight rooms at The Willows for this past weekend. We could not have been treated better by the staff while making the reservations or during our stay. We were staying in Utica for our son's wedding. The location is excellent...right in town, close to Starved Rock State Park/Lodge. The rooms were very spacious, beds comfortable and beautifully decorated. The rooms on the second floor have kitchens. There are two rocking chairs outside each room on the porch's. These were great for sitting outside in the mornings with coffee or a good book. We had family members come over to The Willows between the wedding and the reception. The porch was perfect. We pulled the rocking chairs together and set up a couple of tables for snacks and drinks and had a wonderful time enjoying the small town atmosphere. We had the rehearsal dinner at Skoogs Bar and Grill (walking distance from The Willows) on Friday night. The staff was wonderful and the food excellent! We also had breakfast at the Nodding Onion (also walking distance) one morning which was delicious.

For the price of $75, the rooms were huge and accomodations very welcoming. I would recommend any day...
