We have stayed here several times over the past two years and each time is the same... excellent! Toni is always very accommodating to our requests. We duck hunt on the Mississippi and this is a nice place to stay after a long, cold, hard day out on the water. Always clean, warm, and spacious. Although we don' t take advantage of the meals as we're out before dawn we did stop in for some pumpkin bread downstairs at the Sweet Life. We'll definitely keep coming back.
5 out of 5Wonderful find in Savanna
November 27, 2011
Not your typical b & b. This one is above a bakery with a great view of the Mississippi out the back. There is a nearby train track which didn't bother us and would have been fun to watch from the back porch if we were there in warmer weather. The place was spotless and large. Our hostess was very helpful. Very comfortable bed and pillows.
5 out of 5How Pleased We Were with the Blue B and B
November 15, 2011
Tony McCombie is a great innkeeper, and her bed and breakfast exceeded our expectations! It was well decorated. The bed was comfy. The atmostsphere was divine, and it was prestinely clean. The Sweet Life Bakery and Cafe downstairs where we ate was scrumptious. The view at our bedroom's window of the Mississippi was much appreciated, and added to our experience. Tony gave suggestions of where we could eat, and even watch "our Hawkeyes" game there at the B & B. We still chose to watch the game from the comfort of our cozy living room area. It made for the perfect get-away.

5 out of 5Relaxation
August 06, 2011
My husband I recently stayed at the Blue B & B after a days ride on the bike. The owner went above and beyond the call of duty, ensuring the room was cool after such a hot day in the sun. The inn had all the amenities we needed and its location to the center of town made it easy for us to interact with the friendly people from Savanna. To top it off, the breakfast and morning conversation was great - we will be back....thanks for much for making a short vacation so relaxing!
4.8 out of 5Perfect spot for a fun weekend stay
July 25, 2011
What a great place! This was our second time staying here. It's the perfect spot for a fun Savanna (and area) weekend. You can walk to a ton of cool restaurants and bars. Tony gave us lots of great suggestions. I love this town and this B&B. I'll be back! Lauren
5 out of 5Biker Friendly!!!
July 25, 2011
we love this place! The rooms are always very clean, the air is always turned down nice and low which feels great after coming in from a long day's ride on the motorcycle! Tony goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome - it's the perfect location too - right on the main street walking distance from all the bars and restaurants. You won't be disappointed!!
5 out of 5Tony rocks!
