TimberCreek Bed & Breakfast is a gated, sophisticated country retreat on 25 acres. It is situated at the end of a 1/4 mile lighted, winding lane in a secluded Illinois meadow surrounded by trees and a stream. It is the ideal setting to escape fast-paced everyday living and relax, recharge, and reconnect with each other. The interior is decorated in an English Cottage decor. There are six suites with hardwood, brick, and tile floors, pickled white wood ceilings, skylights, columns, extra wide trim, fireplaces, private sitting areas, knotty alder beams and cabinetry, upscale furnishings, artwork, oversized beds, a Jacuzzi, and much more. Outside, guests will find a covered porch with rocking chairs and a nice stone patio with a large outdoor fireplace tucked into the landscaping nearby. The patio has cushioned wicker furniture, tables with umbrellas, and wrought iron chairs and benches. Firewood is complimentary. Many guests enjoy walking along the winding lane and exploring the stream. At dusk, when the birds finish their singing, TimberCreek is transformed into a country planetarium as the moon rises over the meadow and the stars appear in the sky. If you happen to be from the city, it's simply amazing!! At daybreak, deer may be found in the meadow and wild turkeys will most likely be close by. TimberCreek is one of the most peaceful places you will ever discover. Our lovely hostess, Connie Bahler, spoils all her guests with special attention and sweet compassion. If you have never tried a Bed & Breakfast, TimberCreek is a very good place to start.

This place was beautiful! Quaint, quiet, beautifully decorated, friendly, relaxing. I just can't say enough about it. 25 acres of grounds to walk on which we didn't have time to enjoy cause of weather and other plans but i will definitely go back. Great place to enjoy with a spouse or close friends! Can't wait to come back!!

My wife and I began staying here in 2004, and have made this a yearly event ever since. We come from Louisville KY and look forward to our stay at Timbercreek. The hostess is Connie. She always makes you welcome and goes out of her way to make the visit the best. We highly recommend Timbercreek.

The Timbercreek Inn was a wonderful oasis from the busyness of every day life. Connie was a most gracious hostess. We arrived early and since our room was ready we were allowed to check in - what a wonderful blessing. We enjoyed the gas fireplace, the quiet, the beautiful scenery and the great view of the stars that night. It was wonderful to disconnect for 24 hours. We will return and look forward to a longer stay.

We have stayed here several times. Sometimes we were celebrating a special occasion and sometimes we just wanted to get away. We always leave feeling relaxed and refreshed. Connie is a wonderful hostess and cook.

As a group of friends, we reserved the whole facility and had a wonderful time. Enjoyed a fire outside on the patio, as the weather was mild for the first weekend in December! Would love to see the grounds when the flowers are in bloom. Connie was a wonderful host, and served a delicious breakfast. The rooms have a lot of charactor & detail, and everything was spotless.

TimberCreek is a peaceful place to just enjoy life. There's not even a TV in the place to distract you! Connie is a wonderful hostess, the grounds are magnificent, and you're close enough but just far enough away from towns with other things to do. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were perfect!

Interstate Special
If you are traveling by Exit 261 (Paxton, IL) on Interstate 57 after 5:00PM and would like to check availability of rooms, call us and if we have a suite available, it is yours for only $89.00. (double occupancy). To qualify, your residence must be a minimum of one hour away from Paxton. This great rate includes a bountiful breakfast for two in the morning. (The Rose Garden Suite is not available with this special).
