With wekk- appointed rooms and fantastic, sociable owners, the Magruder House does not disappoint. We enjoyed lazing about in bed and exploring Kankakee on bicycle.

Wonderful place to get away from the busy city life. Animal crackers before bed, personal breakfast pies and an all around great service from Scott and Kathy. Would come again and recommend to others.

What a wonderful syay we've had -- the beautiful, historic home, plush bedding, delicious breakfasts, and of course the welcoming innkeeper -- we did not want to leave but will certainly return!
