My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at the Hidden Lake B & B. We did not want the experience to end. Can't wait to come back in the spring and do some fishing and relax so more! John and Mary Jo are not only gracious hosts, but great conversationalists. If you are contemplating visiting Southern Illinois and want to taste superior hospitality, pamper yourself and book a stay at Hidden Lake

Went for our 6 year anniversary and chose it due to its location along the wine trail as well as its distance from STL where we are from. First time in a B&B and was more than surprised by the room size and amenities. Unfortunately it rained most of the time we were there (which spoiled the downtown Anna Christmas celebration. Blue Boar had excellent food at an excellent price. We did not partake of the B&B's breakfast so I cannot rate that. Overall, we were both able to go home when it was over (didn't want to leave) more relaxed. Will lile to go back again but perhaps when the weather is warmer.
