This was our 4th time staying here and we loved it once again! The lodge suite is very spacious and cozy. Denny and Jan do such a great job at making you feel at home. Denny is a FABULOUS chef (if you're able to have him make you dinner as well--do it!) and Jan always makes sure you have everyting you need to make your stay enjoyable. Thank you Denny and Jan!

Had a great stay at Mission Oak! The online reservation process could not be any easier, and once you book online Jan will call you to get final details. If you go, you MUST eat dinner with the Reeds. The price of dinner is well worth it, and you cannot go wrong with any of the choices I would assume (based on our meal). Denny and Jan will sit down and eat dinner with you, along with the other couple if they choose the dinner option. Tea, coffee, or soda are available to drink, and fresh homemade bread is also served. Come down to dinner hungry, because they will offer you seconds and thirds for dinner! The dessert is incredible, and the presentation is outstanding. Denny is the chef, and everything is 5-star. I believe he has even won some cooking contests. The room is a real delight. We had the Lodge suite, which is upstairs over their garage. It had a private stairway entrance, and was the size of a studio apartment. Fresh homemade cookies were waiting for us when we arrived, and the small refrigerator had soda and water that was free. Coffee and tea was also in the room. The jacuzzi was excellent, the bed was soft, a reclining couch was in the room, and there is a two sided gas fireplace. There is a TV with DVD and satellite/dish channels, and there are DVD's to borrow for free downstairs. The room was immaculately clean, and there was a beautiful view out both of the large windows. A huge tip of the cap to Denny and Jan for designing a bed and breakfast that truly allows its guests to relax and get away. We cannot wait to go back when it is a bit warmer and dry so we can experience the trail and the small lake on the property. Also, Denny and Jan will let you know about things going on in the area, historical sites, state parks, etc. There is quite a bit to see and experience within about 30-40 miles of the inn. I highly recommend everyone experience the Mission Oak Inn!

Someone had recommended we stay here and they were 100% right. Best bed and breakfast we have stayed at. Jan and Denny were polite and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and we regret going to a restaurant for dinner, we will definitely pay to have him cook us dinner next time - delicious!

Delightful conversation, best B&B meals we have ever had. Quiet, relaxing get away. The B&B owners have obviously done a lot of work on the art of hospitality - wonderfully welcome.
