Randy and I needed to getaway from the chaotic life we've been leading lately! Mission Oaks provided all that and more. The lake was as smooth as glass and we felt as if we were in an artist picture. The room was clean and comfy. The food was like going to a 4star restaurant Chicago! Mission Oaks excels in every detail of your stay.

Denny and Jan Reed are two wonderful people. Their attention to detail and our comfort were, to say the least, extraordinary. I would recommend their B&B to anyone. Edward and Karen Hathcoat Genoa, IL

My wife and I just spent some time at Mission Oak Inn before the arrival of our 2nd child as well as a break from our very busy toddler. This was our 1st time staying at a B&B and now the bar is set very high. Food was out of this world!! We had the pork chops for dinner and the breakfast was amazing as well! Very clean, private, peaceful and so relaxing. Cant wait to go back and stay longer!!!

Denny and Jan have created a lovely retreat with gourmet food, beautiful accommodations and a warm hospitality to tie it all together. Mission Oak Inn is a fantastic secluded and tranquil escape from everyday life. We have stayed at several B&B’s, but Mission Oak Inn has surpassed them all. The setting and scenery are gorgeous and Denny’s cooking is OUTSTANDING to say the least along with Jan’s attention to detail which is impeccable. If you are looking for a relaxing break where your food is out of this world served in an incredibly warm atmosphere by hosts who are extremely gracious and friendly then Mission Oak Inn is where you want to be!

Mission Oak Inn is a fantastic getaway for young and old alike. The facility is amazing. The town is quaint and it is just a short trip from Chicago and the Suburbs. The breakfasts are gourmet at the least. The owner of the inn prepares a four star breakfast from scratch each morning. There are small deck boats to take out on their private pond whether wanting to fish or just hang out and enjoy the area. The small adjacent towns have antique shops, wine tasting and some fantastic options for dinner. I would highly recommend trying this lovely bed and breakfast for a relaxing getaway from the daily grind.

The food and service are far above outstanding! Denny & Jan are truly called to extend hospitality and provide it. They make sure you have what you need and respect your privacy while welcoming you with good conversation at the table. Far too rare is the opportunity to relax at table and have a good conversation with strangers, but it is provided here. We relaxed and will return as soon as we can.

The food is absolutely fantastic. The bird watching room is very comfortable and a great view of the lake. Fishing, hiking, eating, and relaxing. What more could you ask for?

My wife and I so much enjoyed being there just to step away from life and enjoy what Denny and Jan have to share. We arrived on Friday and stayed until Sunday morning. We were blessed with a special weekend. The most treasured memory is Denny and Jan as they shared of themselves in so many ways reflecting One they serve. Desiring to return some day!

Excellent time away. No agenda, extremely accommodating & helpful, very relaxing. We walked more than once, sat and did some reading and my wife fished. Highly recommend it.
