Stay was very nice. There is lots to do in Galena. It is a beautiful town. The Queen Ann is a great place to stay. Parlor party at 5PM was nice surprise and lots of good conversation with folks from all over. Breakfast was very good and you do not go away hungry. Would stay here again. Do recommend to others. Only complaint was to train engineer that decided to blast his horn at 0130AM for no reason except being a total jerk. Next night nothing an slept like a baby.

We spent a night in the Queen Anne suite and enjoyed ourselves very much. Mike was very cordial and had interesting stories. The breakfast was great and I especially enjoyed my soak in the old fashioned claw foot tub.

Thanks Mike for a nice time. We stayed in the Lady Ashley room. The bed was a bit too soft for me, but the Jacuzzi tub, TV, and breakfast was great. There is a good selection of clean movies available to use. We met some nice people from Iowa that were also staying there. Mike gave us a good overview of restaurants and things to do in Galena. Celebrated my wife's birthday and walked the 191 steps up to the old High School. Nice relaxing time.

Our 87 year old mother had never stayed at a B&B. My sister and I decided to take mom to the Queen Anne and we were not disappointed! Mike is an exceptional innskeeper! Our room was perfect for the three of us. Breakfast both mornings was delicious and portions were very generous. Mike is very knowledgeable about where to find anything we were looking for during our stay in Galena. The history of the house was enchanting. It was evident Mike and Anita did their research when decorating the house. The victorian decor throughout the house was delightful. We'll definitely be back! All the way home mom didn't stop talking about what a wonderful experience she had!

This was our first trip to Galena and first stay at a B&B. Queen Anne far exceeded any expectations we had. The house was absolutely beautiful with so much history, but still had all the modern day convinces of electric fireplaces, free wifi and premium cable tv. The breakfasts every morning were absolutely delicious. The house is a quick 10 minute walk away from the main street of Galena. There is even a pedestrian bridge right outside the house. We are already looking forward to another trip to Galena and to Queen Anne. I would highly recommend.
