This was our first stay at the Belle Aire but it won't be our last. We stayed in the Blue room which was very comfortable and private. Our hosts, Jan & Lorraine made us feel right at home and went out of their way creating unique delicious meals to accommodate a food allergy. We enjoyed their company and the other guests were great. I would highly recommend the Belle Aire you won't be disappointed!

When we arrived, Lorraine told us that there were some unexpected vacancies tonight and if we were interested, we could upgrade to another room (originally we were staying in "Ruthie's Room". We looked around for a bit decided to go with the upgrade. The new room was fantastic! Hot tub and all the amenities! As part of the check-in process, Lorraine asked if there were any special dietary requirements. My girlfriend has a digestive issue with certain types of foods. Jan went into Galena to pickup the ingredients for a breakfast just for us that satisfied the requirements. It was a fantastic trip, I look forward to spending another weekend in Galena. If we do, it will definitely be with Jan & Lorraine at the Belle Aire Mansion Guest House.

Jan & Lorraine are very welcoming and hospitable! They also cook up a mean breakfast that makes you want to stay an extra night just for the food. They explained everything up front and held a good balance in keeping their space and wanting to learn about your life.

If you're looking for a great get away, I would highly recommend the Belle Aire. My boyfriend and I stayed their for a romantic night on our anniversary. We were delighted by the features of our suite. The pictures on the website of the Canopy Suite do not do it justice! The bedside whirlpool was wonderful and the fireplace was so relaxing. The Suite itself was large and decorated beautifully. Finally, the hospitality of our Innkeepers, Jan and Lorraine, was enough to make us want to return to the Belle Aire for our next stay in Galena.

I recently stayed at Belle Aire as a getaway with my girlfriend. Everything was what I wanted and I can not stress enough how hospitable Jan and Lorraine were during our stay. The best part was is I requested some things to be present in the room upon our arrival (flowers and wine) and Jan and Lorraine staged these items in the room. It really made the experience that much better knowing that these innkeepers would take time out of their day to run and grab these items for me. I would have paid for their time to grab these items but they only charged me for the price of the wine and the flowers even though I insisted on paying more. Thank You Jan and Lorraine!
