Surrounded by eleven peaceful acres, Belle Aire Mansion, is a tranquil home away from home. Built in the mid- 1800's,this Southern style mansion is one of the oldest in the Galena area. Once an old farm house, Belle Aire has been a bed and breakfast inn for 23 years. Your innkeepers, Jan and Lorraine Svec, have been welcoming guests for 21 of those years. Their guests comfort is their biggest concern and they offer experienced personal service, providing rooms with romance and relaxation in mind. Cuddle up in a suite with a warm fireplace opposite a soothing double whirlpool, or choose an antique-filled room just to your liking. Each guest room has a private bath, satellite TV, VCR's, and a jar filled with home-made chocolate chip cookies. What can I say??? This was the first time we've stayed at A B&B. Our Hostess Lorraine met us at the front door and welcomed us. After a short tour of the Mansion, she showed us to our room the "Garden Vue Suite" Breathtaking to say the least. Staying two nights has us hooked on B&B's if all Inn Keepers treat their guest half as well as we were treated by Jan, Lorraine and Jaksun... great food and conversations each day. Jaksun is their Puppy that if you sit and talk to him he will tell you how he gets no treats and where the best treat stores are in town and to please bring him one :-) I highly recommend this place to everyone, great relaxing weekend for the wife and myself, We are already planning our next weekend getaway. We were treated like family the whole weekend, which made our stay even better. Besides the delicious homemade food, we were given recommendations and other information to make our weekend perfect. I would recommended the Belle Aire Mansion Guest House to anyone.

Bella Aire was our first B&B. It was outstanding. We went there for our 10-year anniverary recently and everything was marvelous. We loved the breakfast and the owners are charming and great to talk to.

My wife and I had a great weekend staying at the Belle Aire. The couple that runs the B&B are wonderful and the breakfasts are fantastic. The rooms have a lot of history and it made for an interesting stay.

Jan and Lorraine were top notch in terms of friendliness. The rooms were spacious, clean and we enjoyed our weekend stay there. I would recommend this as a venue to stay at for anyone looking for a B & B in the Galena, IL area.

You can use the money to have lunch at one of our great Galena restaurants, by gas to get yourself to Galena or home again, treat yourself to a box of chocolates or wine tasting at one of Jo Davess Counties fine wineries. Or you can take the $20.00 off your night's stay here at Belle Aire Mansion. You can really use it for anything your heart desires.
