    All rooms feature contemporary furnishings and a hip design. Free wireless Internet access is available throughout the property. Our common areas feature relaxing furnishings, a large screen plasma television, and a work area with computer printer and fax. A beautifully landscaped garden is available for your enjoyment. Typical room occupancy is for two persons, but additional guests can be accommodated in certain rooms. Special arrangements can be made for meals or for dinner parties hosted in our first floor space. Our kitchen is stocked with complimentary fresh water, coffee, tea, milk juices and soda. A light continental breakfast of croissant, cereal and fruit is provided each day between 7:30 - 9:30 a.m. A fully equipped office with conference room facilities and a large outdoor garden is located just 4 blocks away and can be reserved for your business meetings. Cheetah Gym is located just two blocks from the property and in-room spa treatments (massage, pedicure, manicure and facial) can be arranged at your convenience. ****If you are a guest and have any further questions, please feel free to contact me at info@house5863 or call me at (773) 944-5555. A Note for Guest: All Bed and Breakfast establishments in the City of Chicago are required to have the owner live in the establishment.     Reservation Policy

    • Cancellations: Policy Reservation Deposit & Cancellation: All rooms are subject to a 2-night minimum stay for weekend reservations. Single night, week of bookings will be considered based upon availability. All rooms must be reserved in advance and secured by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted). At the time of your reservation, 100% of the cost of your stay (including all applicable taxes) will be billed to your credit card. All cancellations of reserved rooms are subject to a $25 service charge. Additionally, reservations cancelled at least 15 days prior to arrival date shall be charged 50% of the full scheduled stay unless the room is rebooked. Reservations cancelled within 14 days prior to arrival date shall be charged 50% of the full scheduled stay regardless of the room being rebooked. All “no shows” shall be charged 100% of the scheduled stay. All cancellations within 48 hours of scheduled arrival date shall be considered “no shows.” All cancellations should be in writing and faxed to House 5863, Inc. (773-341-7419) ATT: CANCELLATIONS. Cancellations by telephone, post or email are effective upon receipt and only upon written cancellation confirmation by House 5863, Inc. Any reservation refunds will be made within 10 days of the end of the scheduled stay. There is no refund for early departure. All rates and reservations are based upon 1-2 person occupancy. Rates are subject to all applicable taxes. Additional guests are welcome in certain rooms, subject to availability, and are billed an additional $25 per night.

    My husband and I just stayed at this great B&B this past weekend. We thought it was a great place to stay. Very clean and really liked the self serve on the breakfast. They thought of everything you would want to eat before you hit the city of Chicago. We would recommend this place to anyone. Terry&Gary

    No hassle street parking, very clean rooms, common rooms and neighborhood. Andersonville is a gem and I am recommending this B&B to everyone I come in contact with that needs to stay on North Side for any period of time. The owners are very conscientious of their guests. The rooms are beautiful and clean and the Euro kitchen is fantastic. I'm staying again in February.
