City Scene offers guests a comfortable, private suite with one or two bedrooms, sitting room with a fireplace, kitchen and bath with a steam shower. The suite is eclectically furnished and has its own telephone, answering machine and tv/vcr/dvd. One bedroom has a full size bed and the other has a queen size bed. A fully equipped, well-stocked kitchen allows guests to prepare breakfast at their leisure. This bed & breakfast is located in a Victorian four-flat, constructed shortly after the 1871 Chicago Fire, on a quiet, residential street in the Sheffield Historic District of Lincoln Park. Restaurants, shops, theaters, museums, parks, universities, hospitals and a zoo are neaby. All of Chicago's attractions are easily accessible by car or public transportation. City Scene Bed and Breakfast is inspected and licensed by the City of Chicago.

This was a great 2 bedroom apartment that was in a great location near the El and taxi cabs. The place was clean and nicely decorated. Mary, the innkeeper, kept us stocked with yummy pastries and muffins, soda, coffee, etc. I would recommend this location to anyone wanting to experience Chicago as if you lived there. Great place!

City Scene B&B was very pleasant--quiet and in a beautifully cared for neighborhood. It is only a few blocks from a CTA rail station, and several nice restaurants and stores are only a block or two away. The host was very helpful in giving directions from Midway Airport and in providing our preferred foods for breakfast. The apartment is attractive, with a large living room, two bedrooms, a full kitchen, bath, and laundry facilities. We would definitely go there again, if we have another occasion to visit Chicago.
