The Osage Inn

Nestled on 50 acres of picturesque woodlands and meadows, The Osage Inn offers seclusion and a peaceful country retreat. Journey back in time at The Osage Inn, a lovingly restored Civil War era hewn log house. The Inn is furnished in an eclectic collection of mid-nineteenth century antiques and vintage treasures with just the right amount of modern amenities to provide warmth and comfort. Visitors to the Inn will have the log house to themselves. Total and complete privacy with no schedule but their own. The old log house features a quaint and comfortable sitting room and bedroom downstairs with additional beds upstairs. A lovely new addition to the rear of the original log structure houses the fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. Wander out on the big front porch for that first cup of coffee in the morning. The Osage Inn will soothe your spirit. We are truly off the beaten path.

Review The Osage Inn, Charleston, IL

Photo Album

View of the old log house from across the meadow.Early nineteenth century antiques fill the bedroom downstairs. The walls are covered in the original 1800's whitewash.
Antique children's playthings await your visit to the upstairs bedroom. A cozy hideaway to read a good book or listen to the rain on the tin roof.An old log house in Illinois wouldn't be complete without paying tribute to our 16th president. The last farm of Abraham Lincoln's parents is just a few miles south of the Inn.
